Hunters describe hearing vocalization

Two companions arrived early in the morning to hunt geese and began setting up a blind and decoys. They heard a low howling or hooting sound twice and listened together for about six minutes. They initially considered a coyote but felt it did not sound like a coyote. No creature was seen.

Howl
2002 Torrington, Goshen County, Wyoming #926

Loud screams reported

The witness and two companions were sitting and talking outside a motor home at night while visiting relatives in Wyoming when they heard a loud, unfamiliar scream lasting several seconds. All three fell silent for several minutes and then spoke in hushed tones; one companion was frightened and had to be walked a short distance back to the house. They discussed possible explanations but dismissed each option.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
