Youth recounts family story of rock throwing in Trinity Alps

The witness's father and his brothers were hunting and went to a creek to recover a relative's coat and knife. After crossing the creek the woods went silent, they heard something running, had rocks thrown at them, and caught glimpses of a hairy upright creature. Broken tops on small trees were also noted.

Vocalization heard near apartment building

A relative woke the witness around 1 a.m. after hearing a frightening sound. The witness waited outside and then heard a 15-second combination of howling, screeching, yipping and grunting. The witness and another relative searched the property but found nothing and heard nothing further.
