The witness says during deer season in 2014 or 2015 he walked across the road at 4:30 a.m. to his hunting spot. He heard something walking about thirty yards away going away from him. Coyotes joined in, then a sudden quiet death-like blow occurred and he left.

The witness says around 2008 while spending time in his backyard he heard tree knocks. He dismissed them as someone knocking wood in the woods and thought no more about it. The knocks continued for a while.

On a late-afternoon third visit, the researcher and property owner heard very loud wood knocks from a ridge across the valley. Neighbors fired two pistol magazines toward the sound, but the knocking continued harder, as if agitated.

The witness says around 2 a.m. while inside the house he heard an extremely loud scream unlike anything he had heard. It rattled through his body from about fifty yards away. Neighbors about five hundred yards behind him were so scared they drove away and did not return until the next day.
