The witness went outside in the early morning to start a car for work and heard loud howling sounds resembling a weather siren. The howls were heard multiple times, followed briefly by chatter-like sounds leading into another howl. After about three minutes the witness got in the car and left. No creature was seen.
Knocks and responses heard near Muskrat Cove campground, Moraine State Park
The witness awoke around midnight while tent camping near a lake and noticed the woods were unusually quiet. Knocking sounds from up the shoreline were answered by more distant knocks from the woods, with the nearer knocks moving toward the campsite before stopping behind the tent. Nothing was seen, only knocks were heard.

The reporter ran to wake a sleeping companion while the other two put out the fire. Those two companions reported seeing a large hairy man-like figure about 20 feet away, about 7-8 feet tall with red eyes, which then ran off hunched over.
