Looking from a guest-room window, she then watched a huge dark figure moving quickly across the neighbor's pasture to the northwest.

Shortly after sitting down, he heard a sustained higher-pitched howl from one side and a lower sustained response from the other side, neither matching animals he knew. Minutes later while getting binoculars from his truck, he heard a low gruff voice-like sound resembling "Hey You" from close range, then returned to the blind.

Late at night at his hillside home, the witness was on the driveway and porch trying to get his two large dogs to go into the woods below. A very loud, powerful yell or holler erupted from close range downhill, which he felt vibrate through his body and which silenced all dogs in the area. His dogs froze with raised hackles staring downhill, then pigs and possible raccoons were heard moving up a valley, followed by distant dogs barking uphill as if something moved away quickly.

The witness parked with four teenage companions at a forest spot late at night to watch from a pickup truck. After tree knocks and whoop sounds, the group saw a very tall, wide upright figure silhouetted beside a pine tree in moonlight. The witness later found large footprints at the same spot and made casts.
Possible midnight encounter in Thorp Springs RV Park
The witness was outside a residence near a wooded creek around midnight when loud whoops, heavy approaching footfalls, a mildew odor, and a howling dog were noticed. A tall dark man-shaped figure then appeared in a moonlit clearing in the creek bed about 30 yards away. The figure faced the witness briefly then moved out of the light into the woods, and the witness went back inside.
