In mid-September 2020 around 5 a.m., the witness was sitting on a tarped patio when rustling was heard behind a shed about 50 feet away. Three chimpanzee-like whoops several seconds apart were then heard, followed by more rustling. The witness went back inside and reports being afraid to go outside in the dark since.
Hikers report Sasquatch stalking south of Amherst
Two hikers on an advanced trail in the Holyoke Range heard whistles, whoops and other calls coming from both sides of the trail. They felt surrounded and followed for about a mile or roughly 45 minutes until reaching other hikers. Thick foliage prevented any visual identification of the source, which they said did not match familiar local wildlife.

Three campers were sleeping in tents at a wilderness campsite when they heard three loud bounces around midnight. Two of them left the tents, heard something heavy run down the hill, and threw rocks toward it without seeing anything. The family dog refused to leave camp and prolonged cracking of large downed branches was then heard for about ninety minutes without any animal being seen. After the cracking stopped abruptly, the dog investigated and normal animal sounds resumed.

On September 8 or 9, 2020 around 11 a.m., the witness was fishing alone on the northwest side of a lake in a wildlife area. He heard chimp-like chirping from the brush less than 50 feet behind him lasting one to two seconds before stopping abruptly. He turned to look into the brush and trees but saw nothing, then quickly worked around the lake to the parking lot and went home.

On August 8, 2020 at about 9:30 p.m., the witness was camping alone near the Saint Joe River when he heard three loud, drawn-out whoops from the hillside above and to the east over his music. He turned off his speaker and heard no further vocalizations, and the area became very quiet. He made a whooping sound back, received no answer, and it remained quiet the rest of the night. No other campers were nearby.
Campers describe loud branch snap, howls, and possible track, northeast of Cougar
The witness and a relative camped overnight beside a creek after scouting the area for hunting. Around 10 p.m. a loud nearby branch break woke them, but a flashlight search revealed nothing. An hour later distant howls woke them again, with further responses heard after the witness howled back, and footsteps were later heard near the tent. Next morning a single large deep footprint was found near the tent and photographed.

On the night of July 27 they heard intermittent howls from across the lake for about half an hour, then heard a branch break near the tree line. The witness and a companion were camping beside a creek in July 2020. Shortly after nightfall they heard a deep loud growl from about 10 feet inside the treeline and retreated to their vehicle. From the vehicle they then heard three loud tree knocks across the road, branch snapping, and a single additional knock farther away, but saw nothing when shining a flashlight.

The witness reports hearing answering howls 10-12 times, coming progressively closer from about a mile away to about an eighth to a quarter mile. They stopped to scan the ridgeline but saw nothing due to dense vegetation. The witness then heard a brief sound of movement in the brush uphill before they continued back to the trailhead.

The witness was sitting alone by a campfire late at night when they heard something moving through woods toward neighboring houses, sounding bipedal. Several minutes later they heard a distant wood knock to one side, an answering knock from the opposite direction, then another knock from the first direction. The witness described the sequence as an instantaneous call and response in an otherwise quiet neighborhood.

A couple hiked to the top of Silver Star Mountain and stopped to rest and eat. The witness heard a loud two-part whoop from a valley to the north, then heard it again about 15 minutes later and a companion also heard the second sound. They waited in silence without further sounds and then hiked back down without seeing the source.
Possible knock heard from Little Miami Bike Trail near Ft. Ancient
The witness was cycling back toward Morrow on the Little Miami Bike Trail when he heard a single loud, crisp knock from atop the hill to the east. He saw no other people on that stretch and found no obvious human or natural source for the sound. He stored the incident without seeing any animal or figure.

Late at night the witness sat alone by an outdoor fire when he heard a loud, powerful howling sound coming from the wooded valley below. The sound repeated several times over about a minute and seemed to be projected in different directions. He judged it unlike familiar local animals and listened for another half hour without hearing it again.

Three people sleeping in a tent while camping were awakened around 3:39 a.m. by loud knocks. Over nearly an hour they heard five to six sets of triple knocks coming from multiple directions and distances, each set ending with a grunt or exhaling animal-like sound. The closest sounds were estimated about 50 yards uphill, and the witnesses felt the sounds seemed like communication between intelligent creatures. They left around daylight and agreed not to camp at that spot again.

Two people were night fishing from their truck beside a creek. They heard heavy-sounding bipedal-like footsteps moving on the far bank, followed by single hoot-like calls from two positions and later a loud crashing sound like a tree falling. They stayed a while longer before leaving.

The witness and two companions stopped at a creek bridge to get water for an overheating vehicle. While attempting to collect water with a cup on a string, they heard movement on the steep hillside and had small stones and then a large rock thrown toward them from uphill. They left quickly without seeing what threw the rocks.
