The witness and a companion were night fishing at a reservoir when they heard an unfamiliar loud vocalization. The witness described himself as an experienced outdoorsman and said the sound resembled Bigfoot sounds heard online and was not a known animal. The howl was heard from a distance twice, about 15 to 20 minutes apart.

Around 2-3 a.m., the witness and one companion awoke to very loud, distant, deep howling that lasted about 15 minutes. Late at night in July 2007 the witness was watching television at home while his spouse slept in another room with a window open. Both were startled by an extremely loud scream coming from outside that corner of the house. The witness went outside to investigate but found nothing. One witness glimpsed a dark unidentified shape believed to be part of a dark arm that seemed to rise from leaning over before the noise stopped and moved away behind the trees.

The witness and his family were staying in a fifth-wheel trailer with the windows open on a cool cloudy night. Around 2 a.m. the witness heard loud scream-like howls from different directions that seemed to answer each other for about ten minutes while appearing to move. Dogs in a nearby town began barking almost immediately.

At about 3:45 a.m. the witness awoke to a very loud, prolonged, angry-sounding howl from a distance, followed by the sound of a rabbit in distress. A friend camping with the group also said the unfamiliar sound woke him.

Late at night the witness sat by open backyard windows after turning down the TV and heard two long exhalations from just outside at head height. Frightened, the witness shouted out the window and fled to the front of the house, startling a sleeping relative and dog. The next day the witness found a large barefoot human-like footprint in soil against the house corner beneath the window.

The witness was camping with family in Monache Meadows when loud echoing whoops were heard from nearby late at night. The whoops came in pairs and were then joined by coyote howls and sounds of a violent chase that receded into the distance. No visual observation was made and the group did not search the area the next day.

Early in the morning the witness took the dog out to the end of the driveway before work. The dog alerted toward the treeline, then the witness heard a loud howl and wood-on-wood sounds very close and glimpsed a figure by a tree. After going back inside and leaving again, the witness heard footsteps in the dark and saw a huge dark upright figure moving along the fence and driveway by a pond, later noticing a foul odor and disturbed leaves in the area.

The witness walked to a railroad crossing late at night and heard loud screams and thrashing in nearby woods. Rocks landed around the witness, including one larger rock seen coming through the trees, and the witness threw a rock back before leaving. Screaming was heard continuing up the mountain as the witness returned to the main road. Broken trees were also noticed near the site.
