The witness and a companion were sitting outside their truck hunting deer near an empty pond when they heard movement in brush. After two does trotted away, they heard a loud deep roar trailing to a squeal and then saw the same deer sprint closely past them. They then heard loud heavy running described as distinctly two-legged along the ridgeline and fled in their vehicle.

The witness was at home late at night and got up to open a bedroom window because the room was warm. While standing at the window he heard an unfamiliar cry described as a moan/growl coming from the hill in front of the house. He states he had lived in the area for years and had never heard such a sound before, and only afterward considered a bigfoot explanation after telling a relative.
