Bowhunter finds large barefoot prints in the snow near Drummond
While bow-hunting in fresh snow, the witness found a trail of large barefoot-like tracks and followed it about 70 yards to a thicket. After getting into a tree stand, the witness heard knocks, breaking branches, growling, huffs and moans from about 100 yards away for an hour. Becoming nervous, the witness left the area.

The witness was bowhunting from a treestand just after dark when he heard several loud howls followed by a scream from several hundred yards down the valley. Unable to recognize the sounds despite extensive hunting experience, he quickly left the tree and took a logging road by ATV about 3.5 miles back to camp.
