The witness was handling hay bales behind the house and went to retrieve one that had fallen near a swampy drop-off. After circling around a large tree, the witness saw a very large dark upright figure crashing away through vines and palmettos. The figure headed east then turned northwest, wading across a waist-deep canal on two legs before becoming obscured by brush.

On a rainy afternoon a woman who was home alone heard two whoops from the tree line behind her house. She looked up and watched a tall, dark-haired figure step out of the trees, walk five long steps to the side while looking down, and step back into the forest. She called a relative to return home, and a later visit to the spot found trampled vegetation, stacked broken limbs, and a strong odor.
While taking dog outside witness sees large bipedal shadow next to his shed
Late on a winter night the witness took the dog outside and saw a large hair-covered figure standing near a small building about 20-25 feet away. The witness and figure observed each other while the dog wanted to go inside and a strong foul smell was present. After briefly looking away at a noise, the witness went inside for a handgun, and on returning the figure was gone though sounds remained in the woods. A large footprint was found the next day.
Two teenage deer hunters have encounter while hunting
Two teenage hunters were in an enclosed ground-level deer stand when they noticed something approaching wild hogs. They watched for about 10 minutes as it moved crouched, scratched its head and made deer-like blowing sounds, then stood upright after hearing a shotgun clink, causing the hogs to flee. The witnesses fled on a 4-wheeler and one looked back to see it standing by a tree watching them leave.
Child has encounter while looking at the night sky
In 1985 the witness stood in a large backyard bordering pine forest late in the evening to look for a comet when an extremely loud scream came from the forest edge. While running toward the house the witness saw a very large upright creature standing in shadows at the tree line that seemed to move after the witness slipped. The witness ran inside to report it to a relative and returned the next day to sit in the branch level with where the creature's head had been.
Witness looked up into the eyes of Bigfoot
The witness was playing outside at night by the driveway next to the woods and walked toward a streetlight when a tall hairy figure was standing directly in front. The witness looked up at its face and eyes while it looked down without expression, then ran inside to tell parents who dismissed it. A few minutes later a relative and a friend ran inside saying they heard someone walking in the woods.
Two Large Creatures Were Seen Coming Out of Creek
As a child camping with family, the witness woke at night and stayed up to watch raccoons. Two large hair-covered creatures waded across a creek into the camp, growling and grunting while going through items left out. The frightened witness hid and remained still until they left the way they came, after which the raccoons returned.
