While commuting to work in the morning, the witness pulled over to watch what they first thought was a bear sitting under a large pecan tree. After noticing a strong foul odor, they watched the animal stand, walk to the tree on two feet, and shake pecans from it. After the witness honked, the animal froze, turned to look, made a loud screeching noise, and ran quickly into the woods.

Youth's presence startles unknown animal
As a teenager cutting through dense swampy woods on a military reservation, the witness noticed the forest go silent and felt watched. He saw a brown, long-haired form that rose to an estimated 8-10 feet and crashed rapidly through thick brush. He remained frozen until normal forest sounds returned, then left and never returned to the area.
