A man driving to fish with his son stopped on a road near a lake after seeing what he thought was a bear. The animal stood upright, revealing a very tall, broad, dark-brown hairy human-like form, and the driver got out and shouted at it. The creature vocalized loudly, threw part of a snake toward them, then ran rapidly into the woods.

Fisherman and his mom have a close encounter 4 miles west of Linden
The witness and his mother were fishing with his father in a roadside wash at dusk when they heard footsteps in the water that sounded bipedal. A very large, wide figure then came into view in the open wash about 20 feet away, walked past them, turned and went up the bank into the woods. They shouted to the father and quickly left without discussing the event further.
