Couple observers possible bigfoot eyeshine near road on north boundary of Pearlington
The witness and a companion were driving at night in a swamp buffer zone when they noticed eyeshine in the fork of an oak tree. They stopped about 30 feet away and watched a single large amber eye lean out, move and stare at them for a few minutes without a visible face. Frightened, they drove past without checking behind the tree and saw nothing on the return pass.

The figure vocalized in gibberish-like speech, screamed, grunted, approached to about 30 yards and remained for an extended period before tearing vegetation and moving off. While the witness fled toward a truck, movement paralleled the witness in the woods while vocalizations continued behind, suggesting a second individual, and the witness fired a shot in the air before driving away.

While driving in a national forest area at night, the guest and his friend saw a pale yellow-brown flickering light about 100 feet in the air. It moved slightly in elevation and did not illuminate the area like a flare. They backed out, initially calling it a flare but later concluding it was an orb.

After calling for about two hours he watched approaching turkeys suddenly flee, then heard slow bipedal footsteps in the creek bottom. A dark figure he first mistook for a person approached to about eighty feet, grabbed a pine, vocalized angrily with language-like sounds and growls, displayed teeth, rocked and shook the tree, then walked away and gave a loud abrupt yell. The witness waited before leaving on foot, heard a loud fresh tree break, ran to his four-wheeler, left, then returned with a rifle to watch the treeline.

After turkeys spooked he heard footsteps, saw a figure he first took for a man, then watched it grab a tree, vocalize angrily, rock the tree, bare teeth and leave with a loud yell. He describes its size, barrel build, face, mud and debris in hair, then walked out watchfully, left gear, prayed, and sat with a rifle by his truck.

The witness was driving southwest on the parkway near mile marker 307 at sunset with a companion in the car. He saw a solid black biped about four to five feet tall moving along the roadside, which then sprinted between his car and an oncoming vehicle. The figure lost its footing at the road edge, steadied itself with its arms, and disappeared into the woods within seconds. The companion did not see it.

The witness arrived at dawn to hunt deer from a climber stand about 20 feet up a pine. After hearing wood knocks and tree breaks for several minutes, he spotted a tall figure about 200 yards away and viewed it through a rifle scope, describing an 8-foot upright figure with a flat face that smelled the air then ran off on two legs. He climbed down, found a large five-toed human-like track where it had slid, heard whoops from two directions, and left the area.

The witness was driving on Interstate 59 toward Meridian with a relative around 3 a.m. in very heavy rain. A tall hair-covered biped came from the left and moved across the front of the vehicle. The driver slowed and swerved to avoid hitting it within a few feet, and it kept crossing to the east without stopping. Both occupants took the animal to be a bigfoot.

Two witnesses taking a dog for exercise at the end of a swamp road noticed a large dark hairy torso-like shape beside a tree about 50-75 feet away and watched it shift for a few minutes. After driving to two other spots up the road, they heard footsteps approaching and then something running toward them through the woods, which frightened the dog. They left the area and returned later that afternoon, but the shape was gone.

It paused near the center line to look toward the headlights, then continued into the woods on the far side.
