The creature slapped the rock with both hands, then stood upright and walked into the bush. A fallen tree previously seen across the lake had been moved to the beach, and similar loud vocalizations were heard on later nights.

From a distance they saw a very tall, large, hairy, ape-like figure crossing the highway from left to right on two feet, illuminated by street lights ahead. They reported a clear view from the shadow side but could see nothing at the crossing point when they drove up due to darkness.

The account was relayed secondhand by a friend who said the witness was frightened and stayed out of the woods for months.

Early one sunny morning, the witness looked out a bathroom window and saw a jet-black, ape-like figure running bipedally along the backyard fence. The figure ran silently and fluidly over uneven leaf-covered ground with its arms held like a human runner, then disappeared into the woods. About a minute later the witness heard repeated rock-knocking sounds from the woods. A later inspection of the area found no footprints.

The witness was hiking alone on a narrow wooded trail searching for snakes. About 50 yards ahead, a brown human-shaped figure about person-sized or bigger leaped across the trail from left to right on two legs. The witness stopped to listen, then walked to the crossing point but saw nothing in the dense woods and heard no movement. The witness continued hiking while looking back and only later considered the sighting might be out of the ordinary.
