Early morning walker witnesses a sasquatch pouncing on a snake east of Crossville
The witness was hiking alone in the morning about four miles from home when she entered a sunny grassy clearing. She watched a large ape-like animal leap from the woods, grab a long snake from the ground, and quickly disappear back into the trees. She immediately ran from the area and did not tell anyone about the encounter for several years.

Near a dark cove they approached a huge dark figure on the shore. Two occupants of a Jeep returning to base camp late at night noticed a large, dark, upright figure walking in the road ahead of their headlights. The figure, described as broad, massive and moving smoothly, stepped off into a ditch and into the woods as the vehicle approached. After stopping, one occupant heard sounds in the woods and both then saw a head-and-shoulders shape move quickly between trees before the area went quiet.

Three friends were sitting in a fenced backyard at dusk after playing softball when they noticed two spinning white lights in the tops of tall evergreens. Moments later a small, heavy, furry creature with a human-like face crawled from behind a wheelbarrow, looked at them, then ran uphill on all fours with loud heavy footfalls and cleared an eight-foot shed into the trees where the lights had been. Two of them started to investigate with a shovel and flashlight while the third reported a bright shooting star, then they left to meet friends. They have reported no similar activity at the house before or since.

Using an older night vision unit the witness watched a thin wide shouldered no-neck figure walk the trail about 60-70 yards away with bent-knee gait. He reports seeing it about five times that year, and on a later morning it instantly turned toward him when he switched on infrared, showing it was aware of his hiding spot.

The witness and a companion drove to a tree in the yard to check a prior possible sighting. With bright headlights from about 50 feet away, they saw a large white figure sitting on a branch with broad shoulders and hairy dangling legs moving slightly. After the companion shouted to leave, the witness reversed the car and drove away, then both called relatives.

At night the guest saw a face in the living room window reflection with bared teeth and darting eyes that exhaled and fogged the glass. It left the porch with loud footsteps and slapped windows at the back of the house. The guest armed himself with a rifle, stayed in the hallway all night, and moved out the next morning.

In summer 2005 the witness drove back from a relative's house late at night and pulled into the mother's driveway. The headlights illuminated a large hairy figure standing partly behind a dumpster at the bottom of the driveway, which looked toward the witness without moving. The witness froze, tried to call inside, then left and slept in the car up the street until morning.

The witness and his wife were house-sitting a wooded property and went for a late-morning trail run to a clearing overlooking farmland. They came out of thick woods and saw a large fur-covered upright creature about 50 yards away, crouched and staring east. After his wife spoke, it turned its head toward them, and they both immediately fled back to the house.

The witness went to a pond behind the house to get water for laundry after the storm. Across the pond a bear-like animal grabbed a catfish, then stood on two legs and stretched with the fish in its hands. It then turned and went back into the woods while the witness froze and then ran inside.

The witness, a water hauler, was stuck in a ditch in an oil field when they noticed an entity watching them from a few feet away. After turning on work lights, the witness got a clear view before the entity screamed and ran off with long smooth strides. The witness states this was their second sighting in the area.

The witness was driving at night on I-25 over Raton Pass when he noticed a figure on the roadside. Immediately after his car passed, the figure stood upright and crossed the two-lane road behind the car in two to three long strides, seen in the rearview mirror. He described a very stocky figure about six and a half to seven feet tall with dark brown medium-length hair that appeared to flow with movement.

A truck driver and a companion driving south on a highway in Montana reported seeing a large hairy upright figure sprint across the road about 40 feet ahead. The figure crossed in three or four steps and dropped into brush by a river after only a few seconds. Both occupants said they saw it plainly and were certain it was neither a bear nor a person.

A tall hair-covered bipedal figure emerged from the right side and crossed the road in two strides into dense timber. Three people riding in an SUV at night saw an animal step over a roadside fence and cross the road in the headlights. The animal turned to look at the vehicle, then continued across and scaled a steep embankment on all fours before disappearing out of sight. Unclear impressions including knuckle marks were found on the embankment the next day.
