Two companions driving home from skiing at night in an open convertible saw a large hair-covered biped jogging on the dirt shoulder ahead of them. They slowed and pulled alongside to within about ten feet, watching it eye-to-eye in moonlight and headlights before it ran down off the elevated highway. Both occupants viewed the creature, noting its muscular build and human-like surprised expression.

As children, the witness and two companions were fishing and walked up an old logging road when they heard a noise and saw a creature across the road in the trees.
