He viewed it through his rifle scope, saw teeth, then walked toward the trail as it left on two legs, and it paralleled him back toward camp.

He woke to something pulling the door handle and saw a large dog-like head with black fur and an elongated snout breathing on the window. He scrambled to the driver's seat and drove home, later finding saliva on the window.

A high school boy took a girl from a large lake party into the woods where they smelled a strong garbage odor and saw a shoulder and arm behind a tree. The girl fled while he threw a rock, then the figure rose tall and a tree fell toward him before diverting. He ran back to the car and learned the area had a history of Bigfoot reports and disappearances.

After dinner the two children left camp to search for the father and reached a forest road clearing with birch trees. They watched a small thin dark-haired figure climb down a tree, screech, run on all fours, toss a stick, then continue bipedally behind a tree and disappear as the woods fell silent. They returned after dark and the father dismissed their account.

After a long illness the guest returned to the research area and mistook a small figure for a bear cub. It sprang up on two legs and leapt across the trail like a two-foot chimpanzee.
