While camping overnight for an archery hunt, a witness and a relative reported hearing mumbling vocalizations and footsteps around their tent for hours. The relative reported seeing a large hand press the tent wall, and both later reported seeing large upright figures near the truck and treeline, one illuminated by flashlight. After the figures continued circling the camp, the two packed the tent without breaking it down and drove away around 4 a.m.
Sasquatch sighting (2012)
The caller says after leaving medical treatment he felt watched and saw a Sasquatch sitting and swaying about fifteen feet away with no obstruction. It stood, briefly looked, then avoided eye contact and walked across the street and over an embankment. He tried to use his phone but had no battery.

In mid-August 2012 around 1-2 a.m., the witness and a companion were driving on a rural wooded road when headlights illuminated a very large dark bipedal animal moving into the woods. The animal was described as much taller and wider than a tall adult man, with long swinging arms, and disappeared within seconds. Both occupants first thought it could be a bear before concluding it was walking on two legs.

Shortly after they passed, the witness saw a small stocky reddish-haired figure moving on two legs about 80 yards away on the same trail. Last summer the witness was kayaking down a creek around midday when rocks splashed near him. He looked toward the source and saw a creature kneeling like a person, which then stood, made eye contact for about 30 seconds, and ran through the woods. They could see nothing by flashlight from their vehicle. Shortly after, occupants of a passing car stopped and said a massive hairy figure had just run across the road in front of them.

The witness was driving west at night with family in the vehicle when he saw a large grey-haired bipedal figure cross the highway ahead in the headlights. The figure moved quickly from woods on one side to woods on the other in a few long strides, remaining hunched over and not looking toward the vehicle. Only the driver observed the figure, as the front passenger was looking at a phone and the children were asleep.

Two companions were driving at night in a doorless vehicle when they made a wrong turn onto a dead-end road. As they turned around, the passenger alerted the driver to eyeshine behind a large tree caught in the headlights. The driver then saw large eyes about six feet off the ground and a large brown shape behind the tree. Both were frightened and did not get a prolonged look.

Two boys were gigging for fish in a shallow river at night when they heard splashing from objects thrown into the water. They shone flashlights across the river and saw an upright human-like creature bring down a dead tree into the river and move in the water. The boys fled to their cabin, and a tree not present the day before was seen in the river the next morning.

Two people had been fishing at Caesar Creek Lake and were packing up after sundown when a growling/hissing sound came from the treeline. They shone a flashlight into the woods and saw green eyes, heard trees and brush thrashing as something moved, and smelled a strong scat-like stench. After watching about five minutes they gathered gear and walked back to the parking area feeling watched.

Three witnesses hiking on a ridge trail around noon stopped and watched a large dark object standing motionless beside power poles on a distant ridge for several minutes. The object then turned, took several large steps with visible arm and leg motion, and disappeared over the ridge. The witness was driving toward Langford Lake in the morning when a dark, monkey-faced animal on all fours crossed the road directly in front of the car, requiring hard braking. The witness stopped to search the roadside gully but could not relocate it. The witness, experienced with bears, insisted it was not a bear and wondered if it was a juvenile Sasquatch.

They braked as headlights lit it, and it stood to about eight feet, covered its face, then stepped over a fence post and ran toward the woods. The witness was camping with family when the group heard knocking and branch-breaking sounds for about an hour. He walked about 10 yards from the fire to investigate and saw a small dark shape dash past, then noticed a tall bipedal figure staring at him from about nine feet away for about 10 seconds before it turned and walked away silently. He ran back to the cabin and stayed inside for the night.

While walking a ridge the witness noticed bent saplings and knocked on a tree, receiving clear wood-knock replies from a steep kettle below. A large living oak branch was then twisted toward the witness and ripped off, falling to the kettle bottom. Returning later with two companions, they found fresh twist damage and hand-like bark rubs with strong odor, then a young companion saw a light-colored bipedal figure and all heard a deep growl.

Three occupants of a car driving at night watched something emerge from a wooded area and cross the road ahead of them. The figure finished crossing on the south side, turned to look at their car as they passed, then went up a steep bank into woods with apparent ease. The witnesses noted its height and color in their headlights, and reported that a car ahead also slowed as if seeing the same thing.

The witness was driving east late at night when a tall, dark, hairy figure crossed the road in a few strides. After slowing and stopping, the witness watched it from behind as it walked up a bank toward the treeline, swinging an arm and showing shiny hair over its whole body. Frightened it might turn, the witness drove away and later learned others had reported similar sightings at the same farm.
