The animal was described as much taller and wider than a tall adult man, with long swinging arms, and disappeared within seconds. Both occupants first thought it could be a bear before concluding it was walking on two legs.

The figure moved quickly from woods on one side to woods on the other in a few long strides, remaining hunched over and not looking toward the vehicle. Only the driver observed the figure, as the front passenger was looking at a phone and the children were asleep.
