Years later the witness and his father fished where the river had shifted, leaving dry beds and a huge log jam against a cliff. A large rock struck the jam near the witness, then he glimpsed a black-haired human-like backside moving behind bushes on top. He hid his fear, led his father out, and disclosed what he saw a year later.

After staring, the creature made a bared-teeth threat display, vocalized loudly, gestured to go away, then turned and disappeared into brush.

The witness was driving over a mountain pass in the afternoon when a large man-like figure crossed the highway in three steps and entered a swampy area. The witness stopped and searched for tracks but found none. An investigator later spoke with the witness by phone and recorded additional size and appearance details.

Six people hiked up a forest road at night to revisit the witness's prior sighting area. After making knocks and whoop calls, they reported hearing a return knock, whoops, a guttural grumble and a moan, and seeing multiple eye-shines. Later in a quarry area they reported watching a human-like figure in night-vision goggles that crouched when noticed, followed by a rock thrown nearby, after which they left.

The witness had just been dropped off at home and was on the porch when occupants of the car began shouting and pointing toward the back of the lot. The witness looked and saw a very large hairy upright form crossing a break in the brush with three deer nearby before it disappeared in one step. The witness later marked a limb level with the creature's head, which investigators measured at 8 feet.

The witness and a companion were driving at night when headlights illuminated a large hairy figure crossing the road in front of the truck. The figure moved quickly down a steep bank, across the road, and into dense vegetation, disappearing before the witness could exit the vehicle, though crashing sounds were heard afterward. The dog in the vehicle reacted by whimpering and fixating on the woods.

Two brothers parked for a late-night talk on a forest road when heavy footsteps surrounded the car on several sides and powerful growls approached the rear. After repositioning the car in moonlight they saw a dark shape shifting in a tree, heard heavy breathing, and watched a very tall muscular dark creature cross the road and peer from behind a stump. A second slender gray creature leapt across the road, the large one dropped to all fours and left, and the brothers later realized hours had passed.

The witness and his older brother went for a drive to get away after family deaths and got turned around on back roads. Something came up to the back of the car, growling repeatedly with heavy breathing like a sick animal. The witness said he saw something he then called a monster and later identified as Sasquatch.

She was frightened, remained at the sign for a few minutes, and did not take a photo. She did not check for footprints and told only a relative much later.

The witness was driving home at night on a dark rural road with high beams on when they saw a large hairy creature about 400 feet ahead. The creature strode across the road in a few strides, then stopped mid-stride and looked back toward the witness before moving off to the side. The witness estimated it was very tall and thick-chested with long arms and light brown/tan hair.

The witness and a companion camped beside a river and heard loud yelling that dropped into a groan or growl, followed hours later by closer calls, heavy footfalls, rustling on a hillside, and a large splash in the river. They could see nothing by flashlight from their vehicle. Shortly after, occupants of a passing car stopped and said a massive hairy figure had just run across the road in front of them.

The witness and her husband stopped roadside south of Seabrook to photograph scenery. The witness saw a head-and-shoulders shape between trees uphill that disappeared before she could photograph it. Shortly after, a loud impact sounding like a stone hitting the metal guardrail was heard by both, followed by a second strike as she re-entered the vehicle.

In the early afternoon the witness and companions were walking down an old logging road when they heard strange whistling, gurgling pig-like sounds and trees shaking nearby. The witness approached to about 30 feet and saw the back of a light beige, clean-haired figure with darker face and hands holding trees, which then struck trees, turned away, and ran off on all fours while whistling continued from across the road. Companions farther away heard the whistles, thuds and thrashing but did not see the figure.

The witness and four companions were pausing in a hay field during a target-practice outing when the witness spotted a large dark figure rising from a blackberry patch. The figure walked across a trail, paused by a fir tree and looked toward the group, then continued into an adjacent field. The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

Residents of a homestead in the Olympic Mountains reported continued sightings and banging on their house. The researcher built a fake rock to hide a game camera there. In 2012 the camera captured something briefly poking its head up and then dropping down out of view.

While working as a perimeter patrol officer on graveyard shift in 2012, the guest watched a white spiral corkscrew-shaped smoke rise several hundred feet from a hillside for 15-20 minutes on successive nights around 2-3 a.m. On the second night three unmarked black Apache helicopters flew very low over the prison toward the smoke, with the middle one completely silent. He reported it by phone to the supervisor and documented it in the official logbook.

The witness was driving east on a mountain highway near twilight when she saw a tall, dark, upright figure on the roadside about a quarter-mile ahead. As she approached, the figure slipped fluidly down a steep rocky ravine and disappeared. A few miles farther east, she saw a second, slightly smaller dark figure that likewise moved swiftly and smoothly down the slope, shaking small trees as it passed.

Four friends camped overnight near a river. After a distant yelp, a companion reported seeing a large shape by the river that could not be made out in the dark. Later the two awake witnesses heard a loud knock on a tree near camp and then bipedal footsteps circling the tent, including contact brushing the tent, before the sounds moved away. A daylight check found no tracks.
