After finishing a night shift, the witness was driving home along a forested road near a bog and lake. A large fur-covered animal with long arms crossed the road quickly on two legs, stepped onto the guardrail, and leapt down the other side toward the lake. The witness did not stop, stating it was neither a person nor a bear.

She followed it visually for some distance and noted its rapid movement and swinging arms. The next day she returned to the same area and found very large footprints with only three toes visible and widely spaced, which she interpreted as confirming the figure was not a human.

She described it as extremely fast and graceful and concluded it could only have been a Bigfoot.

Their headlights caught a very large, tall, dark-brown figure running across the road about 40 to 50 feet away. After he spoke to it, the figure silently stepped off the trail into dense cover and vanished. He waited, then passed the spot with his rifle ready, and a next-day search found no sign because fresh snow had fallen.
