The witness was night fishing from a dock when an otter nearby suddenly fled. The witness then saw a large grey shape move quickly and silently between cover, followed by a large splash near the dock. Frightened, the witness left immediately and found large four-toed footprints on a return visit the next day.

She estimated it at 7-8 feet tall with a very large head, thick neck and wide shoulders, moving upright on two legs.
