Researchers visiting the property over about two years reported finding different-sized footprints, thermal-video figures that popped up and down in grass, rocks thrown while hiking, wood knocks and rock clacks, and a juvenile crouched in grass that one researcher approached. They interpret size differences as four individuals including two juveniles and two adults. They also collected casts, audio, and other trace evidence.

After the friend headed back, the witness saw a six-foot bipedal figure with long arms take a quick lateral step behind a tree and disappear. They both then hurried out of the woods.

The witness was night fishing with his brother and a friend when movement in dense cattails prompted him to throw concrete that struck something with a loud thud and exhale. They saw high amber-red eyeshine, then fled to their lifted pickup as a large snout-faced biped chased them. It reached toward the tailgate and kept pace on two and four legs for several hundred yards until they detoured around the lake to escape.

The witness and two young relatives rode dirt bikes up an unfamiliar trail while camping and stopped near the treeline. The cousin went ahead, then dropped to the ground shouting to run as a whole tree with root ball flew horizontally over him. The witness saw a huge dark man-like figure uphill that turned and disappeared very quickly, after which they retrieved the abandoned bike and left camp.

A couple driving farm roads off the grid near Vader passed what looked like a seven-foot stump. As they passed, it spread wings and flew in front of their car, appearing to be an exceptionally tall owl.

He watched a half-man half-goat figure dance in the fire for about 15 seconds; it looked shocked when seen, ran to the treeline and appeared to dissolve. As teenagers the witness and friends camped and hiked up a reputedly haunted mountain at night to look for a cabin. They were paralleled on both sides, heard whoops and powerful wood knocks and branches being ripped, then a large tree was pushed over close to them and they fled. The running camcorder captured the sounds and briefly illuminated two large almond-shaped red eyes that narrowed and turned away before the tree fell.
Partial sighting
Two senior members separated to hold still positions, one toward the creek and one toward the foot of the mountain. While neither was supposed to move, each saw an upright figure and assumed it was the other member. Neither used binoculars, and the opportunity was lost when they realized neither had moved.
