Sasquatch sighting
The guest's son was jogging and walking back up a steep short hill when he saw a three-foot black shape with two black projections dart up the hill. He waited, then searched the hill and found nothing. The guest speculated it could have been a young Sasquatch.
Unidentified sound
While sleeping in the basement with his small dog, the guest woke to find the dog trembling on his head. He then heard a sound at the window, saw a shadow block the light, and heard three loud thumps outside, after which it was gone.

While driving to shop early in the morning, the guest saw a thin black two-legged figure run effortlessly straight up a steep brush-covered embankment. He estimated it covered about a hundred feet in a couple seconds in a few strides and judged it was very tall.

While driving slowly on a drizzly night with his son to get ice cream, the guest saw a huge black shaggy mass by the roadside with a slow-wagging limb. He thought at first of a large dog but noted its height, lack of visible head, and matted hair, and concluded it must have been a Bigfoot with its arm extended. He turned to look again and it was gone.
Growl
Shortly after moving into the house, the guest's son woke the guest to report growling at the basement window and said he saw shining eyes there.

The host returned to the mountain road where he and a companion previously had an encounter. He describes footsteps closing in, growling and heavy breathing, a monkey-like figure in a tree and shapes running across the road, then a large figure stepping into the road, pausing to look and feinting from behind a fallen tree while a lighter figure jumped into the road and dropped to all fours before leaving.
Footsteps
The witness and his boss pulled into the farm driveway late at night so the boss could relieve himself. While sitting in the parked car the witness told of his childhood sighting and both heard two-footed sidestepping cross the barn where moonlight showed through a gap. When backing out the witness clearly saw a woman in old-fashioned dress with bonnet and apron behind the car and thought he had struck her. He got out to check, found nothing under or around the car, and both left shaken.

The witness was tending a fire while his son swam in the river when he repeatedly saw bipedal legs moving through foliage on the far bank getting closer. He called his son out, heard snaps and a whoop, and later saw the legs taking big strides on the ridge. They waited by the fire until it went quiet.

The witness's son and his friend were driving home at night when they encountered a big bright light at a side street and main road intersection. They were unsure if a transformer had blown. The account was relayed to the witness, who was unsure whether they were kidding.

A couple days after the grunt, an opaque ball of light with contents inside appeared just beyond the porch railing and held position. When the witness stepped closer it backed off, moved around the house to the garden fence, and blinked out. It returned the next night with the same behavior, this time also seen by the witness's son.

While living on Lake Murray, the witness was on the back porch when a large ball of light bigger than an exercise ball came through the yards toward the lake. She asked her husband if he saw it, but he did not. It returned the same way then disappeared without being seen leaving over the lake.

A hunter encountered what he called an ape man that did not look like the well-known film subject. The animal growled, turned and charged him. When he shot, it was gone, described later as a glimmer of light like time and space opening up.

The witness was driving home on a two-lane highway in north-central Arkansas after sunset when a fast, reddish-haired ape-like animal carrying a raccoon in its mouth ran into the road. He struck it squarely with his car at highway speed, feeling a violent impact that was heard by his girlfriend on the phone. After stopping he found no damage to the car and no airbag deployment, but extensive blood on the passenger side, yet no body, blood, hair, or raccoon at the impact site. He also describes a brief dull flash at impact and time seeming to slow.

A squad leader on a midnight blocking position saw a dark canine-like creature in a crouch about 20 meters away making low growls. When he lowered night vision the creature ran fast at a low stance while others heard crashing. Later soldiers reported wet-dog odor and loud guttural sounds after coyotes fell silent.

A cargo plane crew flying low at night saw a figure on the ground waving that disappeared on a later pass. Meanwhile two loadmasters in the back spoke to someone unseen and later saw a dark figure on the ramp that approached and vanished. The crew was badly shaken and never saw it again.

A few days later at a different training location, the soldier watched red, green and blue lights moving through distant trees at dusk. The lights appeared organic with soft hazy glow and seemed to weave intelligently around trees. Another soldier nearby looked and could not explain them as fireflies.

At a remote drop-zone field, the neighbor spent about 72 hours seeing black human-like shadows moving in the wood line. Other soldiers also shouted about seeing something huge running away. At night he heard unexplained shrieks and yowls, and on the last night something large leaned over his tent breathing before walking away.

About a month to a month and a half after the Yosemite trip, the witness parked on a roadside in Sequoia and slept in the camper shell of a small truck. The truck was shaken side to side. Looking through the rear window, the witness saw a huge eight-foot primate-like creature holding the truck, which then squatted to look inside before walking across the road into the woods.
