The witness was driving alone at night on a highway through the Black Hills when a large dark biped stepped over a guardrail onto the road very close to the car. She saw its shoulders, chest and legs beside the passenger side before it disappeared into darkness behind the vehicle. Frightened, she did not stop and immediately called her fiancé about what she had seen.

The witness, a truck driver hauling oil, was driving north over a bridge in daylight when he looked down at railroad tracks and saw a large hair-covered figure standing in the middle of the tracks looking uphill. The sighting lasted about 1.5 seconds as he passed at 55 mph, and he tried unsuccessfully to get another driver on the CB to confirm it. He later compared its height to oil railcars and estimated it at no less than 9 feet tall.

He glimpsed a large upright figure slipping behind a tree, then caught its face and upper body in his spotlight from about 40 yards for about two seconds before it pulled back behind the tree. He retreated through brush, crossed the creek, and hurried back to his vehicle while on the phone with a friend.

Four people were train-spotting and camping by railroad tracks at night when they heard noise in brush across the tracks and saw eyeshine and a large silhouette swaying. They reported a foul odor, cats fleeing, and rocks thrown toward them from the brush direction, with impacts sparking on the tracks. One teen went inside while the remaining witnesses heard chatter and a branch snap south of the first figure, leading the witness to think two creatures were present. The witness then lit the brush and saw a tall bipedal silhouette stand before it disappeared, with no further activity over the next two nights.

They stopped about 30 feet away and watched a single large amber eye lean out, move and stare at them for a few minutes without a visible face. The witness was turkey hunting in a different area and saw hens on a peaceful evening. While walking out on a county road bordered by fields and honeysuckle he heard bushes shake, a grunt and loud stopping footsteps. He briefly saw a figure moving fast tree to tree off the road, ran to his truck after crossing water where the sounds stopped, and had no further incidents.
Odor in Georgia (2025)
Two soldiers on a nighttime security patrol left the patrol base and noticed unnerving silence, cold air, a strong rotten odor, and sounds paralleling them and following behind. They heard a knocking sound and a whistle that mimicked their own signal, then encountered a large shaggy shape blocking the trail that rose from a crouch and walked away upright. They were found by an instructor about a mile from the base perimeter and later told by leadership not to discuss the incident.
Footsteps in Georgia (2025)
The witness and a fellow trainee were pulling night security in foxholes at a remote patrol base when they heard slow footsteps and had small stones and a stick land near them. The fellow trainee saw a tall boulder-like shape by a large pine that did not respond to challenge passwords, prompting both to fire blank rounds and the whole perimeter to open fire. The shape then left rapidly through the draw with loud crashing and a large splash in the creek, after which leaders arrived and joked about Bigfoot while the fellow trainee remained shaken.
UFO sighting (2025)
On Halloween the guest was busy in the garden before a party when he looked up and saw an amber fiery ball just above the neighbor's roofline moving oddly then speeding over the trees. He later checked his front camera and found a pure-white object on full-color night vision that appeared to materialize by the moonlit clouds, drop over the roofline and approach the house.
Late night sighting by motorist 12 miles northwest of New Haven
The witness was driving southbound at night when he saw a tall, slender silhouette standing at the roadside. The figure stepped back and disappeared into the woods, apparently having been about to cross. An investigator later met the witness on site and estimated the figure's height at over seven feet using a stand-in.
