On a moonlit night in summer 1970, the witness was on a road by a cornfield with a companion when a large brownish creature was heard and then seen running across the road, down a ditch, over a fence and into the cornfield. The creature had a foul smell. The witness returned the next day and found large smudged footprints in the road and cornfield.

The frightened children ran to a neighbor's house, and the witness's mother later suggested it was a Bigfoot, which the witness confirmed from a magazine photo weeks later.

In the 1970s in Pennsylvania a landed or hovering orb was approached by a man and two neighbor kids who then saw two Bigfoot-like beings along a fence. Shots with tracer rounds had no effect. The witness describes three years of repeated encounters after his family moved onto a wooded hillside property. Four ape-like animals repeatedly approached the trailers, peered in windows, vocalized at night, left tracks, damaged structures, and killed livestock. The father shot the largest animal in the shoulder near the pump house, after which the animals moved faster and more cautiously but continued the activity. Forestry and law-enforcement visitors reportedly told the father to stop shooting, and timber workers and well drillers also encountered the animals.

A driver on a road in Dover noticed a small hairless being with large glowing eyes and long spindly fingers near a stone wall. The driver watched it for several seconds while driving past. The witness later drew what was seen.
Encounter on Toledo Bend
While fishing from a boat near shore, the witness smelled a strong musky odor for several minutes, then spotted a tall hair-covered figure partly hidden behind a short tree at the treeline. The figure remained still for a couple minutes, then stood, stepped into the open to look at the boat, and walked slowly uphill into denser forest. A companion in the boat also smelled the odor but did not see the figure.

The witness, recently out of the military, was fly-fishing with three relatives in a steep, remote river gorge. He turned to see an upright animal at close range that quickly climbed the steep bank to the ridgeline. The group then heard extremely loud guttural vocalizations and huffs, saw movement on the ridge, and had a large rock land in the water near them. They left at dusk and later agreed among themselves it had not been a bear despite one relative's dismissive explanation.

Brake lights illuminated a very tall white or silver figure standing by a bushy tree about 10 feet away. The witness, then a child home sick on a couch, awoke in the middle of the night to the outside dog whining. Looking out the living-room window, the witness saw a large dark silhouette filling the window width and standing silently looking in. The figure was described as taller than six feet, with several inches of moonlit sky visible above its head, and showed no discernible features or movement.

The witness was driving west over the pass late at night when headlights revealed a tall hair-covered biped coming up a roadside bank on the right. The animal stepped over a guardrail without reacting to the car and walked up the hill as the witness slowed and passed in the left lane. The brief sighting lasted seconds, and the witness concluded it was not a bear or known ape.
