The figure then turned, dropped to all fours, and ran away silently through dry leaves and scrub oak. The companion saw nothing, and footprints were later found nearby coming down a mud embankment.

The witness was finishing an evening pig hunt and scanned with a flashlight while exiting the blind. The light revealed a large brownish-black hairy biped with a cone head standing by a tree about forty feet away. It reacted with surprise and fled one way while the witness ran to the truck and left.

The witness was playing with two other children in earthen foxholes behind the school in Alaska. He saw a black furry hand clenched like a fist peer in through an opening. The children fled immediately and the figure did not follow.

A woman who worked at the nearby store told the owner she saw a bear grab a milk jug from the trash with its paw and walk off on two legs into the woods like a person. The witness thought it was probably not a bear.

After the window incident the house was repeatedly smacked, cameras caught nothing and seemed avoided, and an access door was found open. One 5am morning the girlfriend heard window pecking then saw a big black arm pass the front-door window. The witness found piled weeds at the door and two muddy handprints at that bedroom window measuring about eight to nine inches long with slightly wider fingers.

Driving back from Michigan on the Mountain Parkway near Prestonsburg in fog, the tired witness saw a monkey-like creature run across the road on all fours at an angle behind the guardrail. Its head topped the guardrail by a few inches, looked grayish to white, and seemed to blend with the fog.
