The girl fled while he threw a rock, then the figure rose tall and a tree fell toward him before diverting. Years ago a woman reported that a tall hair-covered figure opened the door and walked into the house while she and her husband were home. Both were startled and it immediately darted back out. It was described as six and a half to seven feet, black, thin and human-like in the face.

The witness as a young child was camping near Warsaw Caves with a friend and the friend's father. After dinner the two children left camp to search for the father and reached a forest road clearing with birch trees. They watched a small thin dark-haired figure climb down a tree, screech, run on all fours, toss a stick, then continue bipedally behind a tree and disappear as the woods fell silent. They returned after dark and the father dismissed their account.

After a long illness the guest returned to the research area and mistook a small figure for a bear cub. It sprang up on two legs and leapt across the trail like a two-foot chimpanzee. He then noticed flies and half a face behind a pine, and a huge over-nine-foot male stepped out, stared, huffed, and vanished into the forest.

As he continued turning it lowered out of view without fleeing. He discovered it only later reviewing the footage.

While walking down a pipeline trail to deer hunt at dawn the guest felt watched, turned, and saw a dark-haired face rising from tall grass about 25 yards away. They stared at each other without blinking for about a minute. When he started to speak it abruptly leapt across the trail and vanished.

Video later showed he had focused on a face leaning around a tree that appeared to sneer then close its mouth. He has no memory of turning there, filming it, or walking away, recalling only leaving the other direction.
