She reported a rotten-egg skunk-like smell and prior signs it had looked in windows at the boy. She later moved to Knoxville feeling unsafe.

On a later impromptu camping trip to the same lot with three children, nothing seemed unusual at the time. While reviewing photos at home, the witness noticed eye glare behind the children around the campfire. Her mother thought she could see a body outline, but the witness could not confirm it.

He heard a whooping sound from the woods, then a huge hairy figure stepped sideways out of the playhouse, grunted, and quickly went over the fence. After regularly feeding deer, the witness noticed the deer and his dog acting fearful and refusing to enter the backyard. Later that night he looked from an upstairs window and saw a tall, broad, hair-covered figure standing at the tree line. While driving at night on a back gravel road, the witness passed a large black animal moving on all fours. He did not see its head or ears and said it did not run like a black bear, which he said are not this far north. He did not stop.

The witness recorded large bipedal footprints and drag marks leading toward the shallows. That night the group heard lip-blow sounds and saw eyeshine nearby, and a quick revisit the next morning documented the same scene.

The witness walked with two companions past the camp at night toward a big tree with a cross structure after hearing a tree slap. Small trees flew as something charged like a freight train, and the witness stopped it with a green laser to its eyes. Under a floodlight they saw a huge black-haired standing creature blowing through its lips, which then left, and next-day measurements suggested about nine feet tall with large footprints.

The witness looked up and saw a black-furred head and shoulder pulling a small tree aside about five feet off the road. After locking eyes briefly the witness looked away and saw dark arm, leg and belly moving off on all fours, with nothing visible when passing the spot.

While the guest and his cousin fished upstream and downstream, their companion stayed in the middle setting up a new rod. The companion later said something sat in a cave watching him, with steam visible in the moonlight, and insisted on being taken home. The next day the group returned with larger guns and found small fish and animal bones near the cave but saw nothing.

The guest, then a teenager, was hunting on family land after being warned to avoid a pine area. Hearing loud injured-deer-like screams, he walked toward them and saw a large upright creature holding a branch, breathing rapidly with puffing cheeks and twitchy eyes about 50-60 yards away. When he raised his rifle the creature fled rapidly, jumping a creek into a cedar swamp. Shaken, he detoured around a large cedar tree feeling intense fear, ran to the cabin, and later left the woods for two years.

At night after the woods went quiet, something heavy approached bipedally, roared, reached through pines shaking and pulling them, and lunged with huge hands. He knelt and put his shotgun in its midsection but did not fire when it backed off, then it screamed, circled the camp throwing trees, iron-ore rocks and dirt while they kept a bonfire burning until early morning.

While sitting for hours listening to breathing during the same foggy morning, the witness noticed a huge silent craft just above the treetops. He caught flickering lights and partial views through fog but could not see from one end to the other. The fog never fully cleared and he never saw it again.

He found a footprint, droppings and a dead smell, listened to heavy breathing behind a thicket for hours, heard a vocalization and a stick hitting a tree, then saw a head peering from behind a large pine. He viewed it through his rifle scope, saw teeth, then walked toward the trail as it left on two legs, and it paralleled him back toward camp.

A man who had been drinking pulled over to sleep in the back seat with the car running. He woke to something pulling the door handle and saw a large dog-like head with black fur and an elongated snout breathing on the window. He scrambled to the driver's seat and drove home, later finding saliva on the window.
