While the crew sorted shrimp on deck in fog, the skipper came aft and said a sea serpent had swum parallel to the boat about fifty feet away. He described locking eyes with it, noting undulating humps and drum-thick body before it returned into fog. The guest was nearby but missed it while working.

After midnight they heard branching breaking and multiple bipedal-sounding runners circling camp in the dark, fired rifles without effect, found the dog terrified in the tent and felt something touch a tent, then saw large shadows in firelight. They packed out carrying the dog while being followed down the trail, with one silent individual flushing very close, until reaching the car.

The witness saw a large silhouette block the moonlit trail beside a low-hanging limb, then take a couple steps across. Both creatures then left into the brush, and the boy ran home and told his grandmother, who said she believed him.

While driving with family at night the witness encountered a massive black long-haired dog-like animal that jumped a tall fence, crossed the road, and stopped in headlights staring for several seconds before bolting into the woods. A short drive later the same animal shot across their driveway at high speed. The witness's mother called his father to come out with a gun, but nothing further was found that night.
Eyeshine in Indiana
In darkness the witness walked a logging path to his tree stand while two sets of eyeshine paralleled him side-by-side for a long distance. When he switched on white light at about 15 feet the eyes rose to about seven feet with a bark-like grunt, then vanished. From the stand he watched one taller and one smaller eyeshine peek from behind a tree until a neighbor's vehicle lights approached, when they crashed away loudly through the woods.
