A large dark bipedal figure walked across the road in under five seconds where crossings had been heard the night before, then disappeared into brush. They had upright ears on top of the head that did not move, longer snouts, thick curved claws, arms carried in front with palms down, and moved individually rather than as a group. She later learned investigators called this type dogman.

Less than an hour after men chased the creatures, the witness watched the forest from an upstairs window with a night vision scope. She saw eyes in a thicket, a massive back low-crawling, then multiple shapes moving, estimating five or six individuals, including a smaller one rocking in a tree with its mouth open as if vocalizing.

She felt stared at and terrified and blocked the windows, then her husband hurried into the truck saying he had seen a whitish-gray thing about four feet high and five feet long moving on all fours as if gliding. Both remained scared in the truck without investigating.

The witness walked alone to his deer stand before dawn on opening day on his Kentucky property. About 20 feet into the woods he heard a grunt followed by a powerful roar that vibrated through him and froze him, then a second similar call nearby, indicating two animals. He stood motionless for several minutes, then eased away and waited in his stand until daylight. Days later he glimpsed a large gray head at the woods edge and later found a buck with a shattered leg and torn hip, and the next summer heard a frenzied coyote chorus end in sudden silence.

They saw something move easily through the woods, pause to peer from behind a tree at them, then disappear. The grandfather dismissed it as a bear but the father remained terrified.

While guiding a thermal hog hunt, the guest scanned a field from its edge and saw a two-legged figure stand near bedded deer very close by. When others came up and he looked again, only a heat signature retreating into the woods remained.

A hunter sitting in a box stand heard rustling behind him and saw hands part bushes with a hairy man-like face looking up and grunting. He jumped from the stand without using steps and ran across the field to his truck. He was so shaken he reportedly never hunted again.

At a Puyallup house backed by woods the guest's son was growled at, garden ornaments were taken and replaced with rocks, and wood was thrown against the house. The guest saw a tall black individual walking from her window that seemed to vanish, saw it solid twice more, and walked close to another individual holding its arms across limbs to mimic a tree before backing away.

A friend's daughter ran away and slept in her car on a dirt driveway off the same road. She heard noises, looked over the dashboard, and saw sets of eyes and silhouettes standing and squatting in trees. Nearby dogs broke out, chased, and were never seen again.
