The witness hid, then later saw the figure walking away into the dark carrying something. A sour body odor was noticed during the presence, and deer jerky hanging on the front porch was missing the next morning.

The witness and the witness's mother were driving slowly on a mountain road looking for cattle when the witness noticed movement behind pine trees. They stopped and saw a tall reddish-brown figure standing by a tree, which then turned and moved quickly away into thick brush with long hairy arms swinging.
