The upper body and head were visible above roughly 3-foot grass, with an estimated total height of about 8 feet. The witness continued about a quarter-mile before being able to stop and return, by which time the figure was gone without a visible trail, and after watching several minutes continued to work.

They braked as headlights lit it, and it stood to about eight feet, covered its face, then stepped over a fence post and ran toward the woods. The witness was driving a truck on I-75 at dusk in fog when a tall dark bipedal creature crossed the highway ahead from forest toward an orchard, covering the lanes in a few long strides and clearing the median and a fence. After pulling over, the witness shone a spotlight into the area, saw red-orange eyeshine for several seconds and heard a low grunt before leaving.

A few days before a tree-treatment job, the witness drove to a turnaround at the end of a logging road to wait for a contact. He heard a loud snap, heavy running footsteps, tree movement, knocks, three whoops, pebble impacts on the truck, a loud yell and a throaty shriek, and glimpsed a dark figure. He left and met his contact at the paved road.

While walking on a road at night he heard branches breaking and a loud vocalization, then saw a very large dark fur-covered shape between trees on a rock face.
