The witness was driving north on a rural highway just before dark when they noticed a large dark shape in the roadway ahead. As they got closer, the shape stood and moved to the road shoulder in a few steps, revealing a tall bipedal creature in the headlights. The creature faced the vehicle and raised an arm as the witness passed within about thirty feet, with the significance of the encounter registering only afterward.

He looked toward the source and saw a creature kneeling like a person, which then stood, made eye contact for about 30 seconds, and ran through the woods. The witness was driving up a mountain road in the early morning after taking a friend home. Near a curve sign, a figure initially mistaken for a trash bag stood on two feet and stepped across the two-lane road in front of the vehicle. The figure then stepped over a guardrail and disappeared down the mountainside toward the river. The witness drove to the top, returned to the spot to look again, and saw nothing.

Around 1-2 a.m. the witness went to retrieve bags from a car near a carport and heard a snorting grunt. Backlit by a carport light, he saw a large wide shape that vocalized again, circled with him as he retrieved a rifle, then left toward the woods. Next morning he found disturbed ground suggesting large bipedal steps.

He saw a very tall dark figure standing behind his SUV at the garage entrance for a few seconds before running back inside for a gun. After stepping on a stick, the witness watched it glance back and leave, then waited before backing out and telling no one for over a year.

He observed it from the chest up for about four to five seconds from roughly 90 to 100 feet before the road curved. They scanned with a powerful spotlight and saw a hairy upright figure partly hidden behind a tree about 20-30 yards away, with yellow eye glow. It stayed motionless for 30 to 60 seconds and was gone after the light was briefly turned away.
