In summer 1995 a group camped at Illahee Flat near Roseburg reported seeing a Bigfoot emerge from the woods about 300-400 feet away at dusk. The figure reportedly crossed a wide clearing on two legs while swinging its arms. About half of the people in camp left that night.

The witness and a companion were camping overnight in the woods when they heard an unexplained sound and smelled decaying flesh. They heard something moving toward them and fled to a moonlit clearing where they saw a bipedal creature they first called a bear. The witness fired a shotgun into the air without stopping its approach, then both ran through a creek to a store to call for help. In later years they found broken trees and footprints they attributed to the same creature.

A couple driving home at dusk saw a tall dark two-legged figure appear directly in front of their car on M-156. The figure crossed the road extremely fast in a few steps and disappeared to the east, leaving them shaken and surprised they had not hit it. An oncoming car also stopped, but the couple never spoke with its occupant.

The witness was driving with a companion when they came upon an animal lying in the middle of the road and swerved to avoid it. The animal stood up on two feet, watched them as they drove around and away, and then left on foot bipedally. The witness described it as huge with white to grayish fur and later wondered if it could have been a Bigfoot.

While fishing alone from a boat in a cove in darkness, something struck the boat motor like a rock and splashed. The witness turned to see a large figure moving on the distant bank, possibly the thrower, but could not prove its identity.

Later the same night a supervisor watching through a thermal tank scope saw a very large bipedal heat signature approach two other agents on foot. The figure was described as towering over the agents, walking like a person rather than a bear, and stalking them. The supervisor ordered the agents back to their vehicles.

The group saw strange moving lights, felt a sudden whirlwind, then heard growling and tree-breaking and footsteps in the creek as they fled. Years later the witness and his father were driving at night and noticed unusual lights. They pulled off near South Mountain and watched a huge silent boomerang-shaped craft pass overhead blocking the stars. The lights later faded one by one.

While riding a motorcycle toward Canada the witness stopped at a highway pull-off to urinate and walked a short distance into level woods. He smelled a strong musk he recognized from earlier years and then made eye contact with a small young hair-covered creature peering over a log. The young one ducked quickly out of sight. The witness backed out without approaching further because he had left his sidearm at the bike.

While jogging through mesquite bottomland at sunset to check a satellite target, the guest and a companion spotted a black figure on a distant ridge. The guest filmed it at high zoom, noting symmetrical shape and lighter chest, then left to stay on schedule. About two weeks later with landowner permission he relocated the standing spot and found large tracks in hard ground.

While driving south on US 281 before dawn, the witness saw a tall hair-covered figure cross the highway in the headlights and stop in the roadside ditch. As he passed, he observed its large upper body, human-like face, and yellowish-green eyes watching him before it turned into the brush.
