The son later said a picture on a Bigfoot website matched what he saw, described as having red eyes and bent over with hands on knees. About two decades ago a woman washing dishes at night saw a large hairy-faced man looking through the window above her sink. Police were called and during the subsequent search an officer saw a tall man-like figure run across a highway. Very large tracks with a long stride were found but dogs could not track anything and the figure vanished into river bottoms. A later visitor examined a cast and said weight distribution argued against a fake shoe.

The witness and a companion were parked by a river around midnight under a full moon. The witness stepped a short distance from the car and heard movement in the grass and brush. A tall, broad-shouldered hairy silhouette emerged and faced the witness for several seconds. The witness fled to the car and the pair left the area.

A delivery driver walked into the back workshop of a taxidermy shop while the owner was in the bathroom. He saw a blood-soaked Sasquatch head on a work table with tissue hanging from the neck. He left the back room and pretended to have just arrived. The owner claimed he was gutting a boar, which the witness did not believe.

After hearing loud infant crying at the grave site, they drove past the house again and found it dilapidated and overgrown, though the woman with the candle could still be seen inside. The group fled and never discussed the night together again.

Two identical-twin brothers hiking through ankle-deep water reached a clearing and found a creature lying on its back that flipped to all fours and sniffed them, appearing confused. It then stood on two legs and shook a tree to intimidate them as they backed out. That night at camp their stacked firewood was moved, and a neighboring camper said he saw two silhouettes moving it.
