While on rural patrol responding to a noise complaint, an officer took a back road and saw a tall dark figure crossing the road. The figure was estimated at about eight and a half feet and appeared blackish to brown. The area had generated several similar backyard disturbance complaints that year involving noise, trash cans, and broken branches.

The guest, hunting during muzzleloader season, walked back toward his truck on family land at dusk and noticed a small ape-like head peering from behind an old skidder. The creature then leapt from behind the skidder over two logs to a tree without bending its knees, stared briefly while bobbing, and hid again when the witness raised his muzzleloader to look through the scope. The witness left for his truck and avoided hunting the area for years.

Late at night the witness was riding in the back seat of a car that stopped at a crossroads between Boring and Gresham. From about 100 yards away he saw a very tall dark figure walking diagonally across a field toward woods to the northeast. A companion in the car also remarked on its large size. The witness later recalled a humid, mossy, mildew-like smell in the area.

The witness was cutting firewood in the morning when they heard heavy movement in nearby brush. A large upright creature about 50 yards away looked at them with yellowish eyes and exhaled loudly through its nostrils. The frightened witness threw a stick at it and fled without looking back, hearing what sounded like the creature running away as well.

The witness and his father were hunting along an old logging road in the morning. They saw a large hair-covered human-like figure standing beside the road looking at them over its shoulder. The observers backed away while the figure turned, took two large steps, and disappeared into the woods.

The witness reports being at the top of a hill in a pine forest after dark while a companion was below. A very hairy creature about 8 feet tall walked in a nearly human manner while making grunting noises, noticed the witness, then left. The witness reports photographing footprints left in mud.

The witness was climbing a steep ridge before dawn with hunting gear when his light revealed three or four sets of yellow eyes about 60 yards ahead. One set rose vertically and maintained eye contact as the group moved off across a hollow without showing deer traits like a white tail or snort. Shortly after, a heavy object landed near him, which he later interpreted as thrown, followed by guttural vocalizations unlike known wildlife and a skunky odor at a suspected bedding area.

The witness was riding a bike on a trail in a state park in the afternoon and stopped to look at alligators. After hearing rustling, the witness saw a large dark hairy figure standing nearby looking at them. After about 10 seconds the figure ran away on two feet, and the witness rode quickly back to camp to tell relatives.

The witness was traveling west along an easement road on a clear afternoon when an animal was seen at close range. The animal was on all fours with its front raised, paused to look at the witness for a few seconds, then ran away quadrupedally without ever standing. The witness described it as dark brown, short-haired and ape-like, estimating about two and a half to three feet tall on all fours.

A couple rollerblading in the mid-afternoon stopped after noticing a large reddish-brown animal on all fours near the road. The animal looked up at them, then ran directly toward them at high speed, appearing to float with its hair flowing, before veering into woods to the north. The witnesses fled on skates, and the witness avoided that stretch of route for months afterward.

The primary witness was driving to work in the early morning when headlights revealed an upright, hair-covered figure ahead. The figure crossed the paved road in a few brisk strides without running, glancing toward the vehicle before continuing through a ditch into the woods. The witness estimated its height by comparison to a roadside sign.

After returning to camp toward dusk the couple heard howl-like sounds circling and closing in, built a fire, and the husband on a wood run saw large widely spaced yellow eyes of something crouched nearby. They kept the fire and tried to sleep. In the morning while hiking to the main trail something flanked them on the right sounding like three bipeds while their normally barky dog stayed silent.

The witness waited alone in a small meadow while her husband hiked ahead with dogs. A strong putrid smell arrived with total silence as a huge dark mass approached to the wood line about 25 feet away and watched her for about ten minutes. She felt internal terror and a sense of being mentally checked out, pretended normality by doing beadwork, and knew it left when the smell faded.

The witness was driving home with three siblings after visiting a relative. They noticed a tall fur-covered figure walking along the roadside ahead. As they slowed and came close, the figure turned to look at them briefly before walking into the woods, after which they drove away.

A self-described skeptic hunting from a tree stand noticed a three to four foot tall chimp-like animal in another tree about twelve feet off the ground. Its facial skin was dark brown. The sighting badly startled him because it was unexpected.

While looking up through night-vision optics, the witness saw a high-atmosphere web of uncountable dots, each with a trail indicating very fast movement. He contrasted the number in one field of view with known satellite counts and felt the motion looked more organic than vehicular.
Dogman sighting near Foyle, Oklahoma (2001)
A couple repeatedly saw a very large snouted, fanged creature looking over a tall hedge into their backyard. They described pointed furred ears like a Doberman. The investigator visited, had them stand on the porch, and raised a marked pole to estimate the head height at eleven to twelve feet but found no tracks due to rain.

The witness and a friend walked toward a creek in a park and the witness climbed onto a fallen pine to balance. A large dark mass rose from dense cover and stepped into view as a tall, broad, hair-covered biped. It walked away without looking at them while its heavy steps thudded, then disappeared into the woods.

The guest was on a solo boar hunt and camping in a primitive lean-to in Arkansas. At night he heard a wet low huff, then a large hairy biped tore out of the brush and charged toward his camp. He hid in the brush, watched it sniff the air and look toward him, then fled on foot and returned at daylight to collect his gear and leave.
