The witness and her husband sat on the front porch at night with a night vision scope. They watched a tall, huge figure standing about 50 yards away in the woods, passing the scope back and forth, and saw it crouch down and stand back up. While they watched, a rock was thrown onto the carport by something else nearby, and when the husband started toward the figure it vanished in a sudden flash of movement.

Four companions were golfing in daylight when they noticed a large dark figure about forty yards away moving up a wooded hill. The witness drove a cart closer, and the figure appeared to turn toward them before dropping behind a log when shouted at. It then stood, was seen in sunlight, and walked away over the hill into the woods.

Father and son returned on a cold December evening around twilight. The son saw a large dark horse-like shape while his eyes watered uncontrollably and the air felt unnaturally hot. The father could not hear clearly, saw a solid black torso with outward ears in tree branches, then briefly saw reflective eyes like cat eyes in the headlights before they left.

Two hikers about one half to one mile from camp saw an upright figure watching them from behind a large tree about thirty yards away. The figure swayed briefly then ran away on two legs and disappeared into darkness after about 200 feet. The witnesses described it as tall, stocky and shaggy dark brown with long heavy arms and reddish glowing eyes.

The witness was riding as a passenger on Highway 301 in daylight when she looked toward a creek and saw a large white hair-covered biped stepping over the water. The sighting lasted a second or two and the figure did not look toward the car. Her husband, who was driving, did not see it.

Seconds later the witness heard footsteps and saw a tall, wide dark figure cross the pasture, step over fences, cross the road, and disappear near where the deer went. The figure never looked toward the witness and moved very quickly in few steps.

The witness was driving up a mountain logging road to work in the morning with an infant in the car. A tall, hairy bipedal creature crossed the road in about two steps in front of the vehicle and entered the woods. The witness was frightened and drove quickly on to campus.

The witness and his father stopped at a clearcut at night and scanned with flashlights, spotting three sets of eyeshine at different heights. The largest figure charged uphill while vocalizing, then moved toward them breaking branches before everything went silent while the two smaller figures watched from the treeline. Around midnight the large figure re-emerged, stepped over a log and walked downhill bipedally with the other two following.

The next day footprints at the spot were cast during a site visit with a local researcher.
