Two decades separate sightings of father and son at farm

The son ran back to the house saying a large human-like woods figure had watched him from near the woods edge. The parent went outside and noticed a musky odor, which the son described as skunk-like. The son depicted the figure in a crayon drawing and reacted strongly when shown an image from a reported bigfoot film. No one else saw the figure.

Mother and son endure frightening road encounter with hairy, "man-like" being.

A witness driving with a young relative at night rounded a curve and nearly hit a tall hair-covered figure standing by a road sign. The figure turned toward the headlights and the driver swerved to avoid a collision. Both occupants described it as very tall, muscular, mostly hair-covered with little hair on the face, and the encounter lasted only seconds.

Fisherman has a short first encounter on a damp afternoon, as a creature crosses the road in front of his vehicle

The witness was driving slowly looking for a fishing spot in mid-afternoon when an animal crossed the road almost in front of the truck. He saw only its back, one arm, and coned head for a few seconds before it disappeared into riverside foliage. After turning around he found a couple of large footprints with a long stride. He described the animal as over seven feet tall, heavily built, with long muscular arms and no visible neck.

The witness was kayaking ahead of a companion on a narrow river on a cool clear morning when a thick musty odor hit. The witness then saw a wide mass of long shiny fur rise near the bank and run away through dense woods, snapping small trees. The odor lingered so strongly the witness held breath and paddled away for fresh air.

Driver sees a bigfoot cross the road near Harleton

The witness was driving east toward Marshall at dusk when movement on the roadside caught attention. A very tall dark figure stepped onto the highway and crossed it in three strides before disappearing into brush. The witness stopped past the crossing, found a wide water trail across the road and noticed a strong dead-animal odor while feeling watched, then left.

The witness recalls an encounter from about age 7 at home when a very tall, hairy, garbage-smelling creature that was not a bear walked past them. The witness's mother then grabbed the witness and they ran inside. The witness links later experiences, including a similar smell in March, to ongoing crossings at the home near a creek.

After a flat tire at night, the witness left his car to walk toward a companion's car parked beyond an overpass. While descending a slope beside a fenced pasture, he encountered a small hair-covered biped squatting and digging, which then stood and shuffled sideways along the fence while holding it. The witness fled back to his car while shouting over a radio, then locked himself inside and called for roadside assistance.

The witness was driving at night when movement beside the road caused them to slow, thinking it might be a deer. Up close they described a tall gray hair-covered figure near the tree line with large reddish-reflecting eyes that repeated arm movements before walking into the woods. The frightened witness drove away to a relative's house to calm down.

Road crossing sighting by motorist

Early on February 18, 2003, the witness was driving east on Interstate 10 when lights from a passing tractor-trailer revealed a figure stepping onto the highway. He slowed, turned on high beams, and watched a tall reddish-haired non-human creature trot across both lanes and the shoulder in a few steps. The observation lasted up to about 30 seconds from about sixty to seventy yards away.

The witness was home alone in the evening when something struck the locked front door hard. She heard a low grunting or growling sound and then saw a pair of slanted eyes and a hairy head staring at her from a few feet away in the dark. She watched the motionless figure for an estimated ten minutes. Police arrived hours later on foot and found nothing.

The witness was driving his delivery route with his son while both watched the roadside for deer. They noticed a large dark figure about 100 yards away in a green winter wheat field that stood upright and looked at their truck. They observed it for about two minutes as it ate from a small branch held in its hand, and it turned its whole body to watch them leave without running away.

Two motorists have a lengthy sighting along SR56 near the Madison and Clark County line.

Two people driving home from work in winter stopped to watch a large upright hair-covered figure walking along a creek through deep snow. They observed it for several minutes as it continued away along the creek without struggling in the snow, then repositioned to where it was headed and waited until dark without seeing it again. No tracks were found when they later checked the field entrances.

In January 2003 while bobcat hunting and driving slowly through a wooded pasture, the witness and a companion watched a muscular grey-furred animal cross the road on all fours about 30 feet ahead for 6-7 seconds. The animal stayed low and bent over, moved awkwardly with weak-looking front limbs and kicking hind legs, then vanished. Both occupants compared it to a gorilla and later agreed it could not have been a bobcat.

Motorist changes his mind about bigfoot after seeing animal cross road in early morning

A driver traveling west on Interstate 90 in Wyoming late at night reported seeing a large, hair-covered biped cross the highway ahead of the car. The figure was described as stooped with broad shoulders and no visible neck, and it turned toward the vehicle showing red eyeshine. The driver said it was not a person or bear and was unlike anything previously seen.

Geocacher sees large creature watching wild boars

The witness and a relative were geocaching on a trail and stopped because boars were blocking the way. After a twig snapped to the side, the witness noticed a dark, hairy, human-like figure behind vegetation watching the boars, with a hand hanging past its knee. A strong bad odor was also noticed, which the witness thought might be from the boars. They left the area after about a minute because of the boars.

The witness was driving to collect their children when they came around a corner and saw a dark figure by the roadside. The figure moved away on two legs into the woods with a lumbering gait. The witness stated it was not a bear or other familiar animal.

After shooting an elk, the witness returned around midnight with a friend and horses to pack it out. From a ridge they saw red eyes across the canyon and the horses became agitated. Later while alone the witness had a large rock thrown past him, saw a large bipedal silhouette with red eye reflection following on the ridge, heard an unexplainable high-pitched scream, and ran out of the canyon.

An old farmer told the guest's brother that a tall upright hairy being watched him from the woods edge during harvests over several years. It hid when the combine approached and reappeared when he moved away. The farmer called it a gorilla that must have escaped from a zoo.

Motorcyclist sees large black creature near roadkill

The witness was riding a motorcycle on remote dirt roads while looking for an open route. From an estimated 300 yards away, the witness saw a very large bear-like figure in the road near a rotting deer carcass. After the witness stopped, the figure stood on two legs and moved sideways off the road into the brush. The witness left the area quickly and the carcass was gone when riding back out.

Secondhand report - dead bigfoot found

A man reportedly found a dead, very hairy creature on his rural property after his [name withheld] led him to it. He described it as 7-8 feet long and several hundred pounds, with very large hands, long fingers and black fingernails, lying face-up with no obvious injuries. He said he called police, but no police came and instead a black twin-rotor helicopter arrived within about an hour and uniformed men removed the body on a tarp.
