The witness took a friend and the witness's partner to show them a deer stand location. While exiting a trail to a field, the partner lagged behind staring into the woods and then hurried to the others frightened. The partner said a black furry thing on all fours with a human face stared at her, while breaking branches were heard.

The witness was camping with his uncle at a lakeside campsite near the state line. After noticing eyeshine the first night and seeing other campers flee the ATV area, he woke at night to see two large hairy creatures at the campsite. The creatures took the food cooler into the woods where more eyeshine was seen, and left a large handprint on the vehicle sunroof.

After hopping a fence and walking in, they heard a loud roar and the witness turned to see a very tall muscular figure standing close by. Both men fled to the car and drove away without speaking about it at first.

An older woman told the guest she was with her sister and her sister's daughter-in-law near a bridge area in daytime. She watched a hand and arm come around a tree, then a hairy female creature stepped out, locked eyes with her, and walked away behind a shed. Her companions were frightened and urged her to drive away.

The witness recalls visiting the grandparents as a young child and walking with a grandparent up a hill toward woods past a small metal shack. Under the shack was a recently dug burrow that was pitch black, where a pair of bright whitish eyes with small dark pupils stared and tracked movement. The pair left without entering the woods, and the grandparent later confirmed remembering the eyes. Years later the shack was gone but the witness says the depression was still visible.

Witness describes ongoing encounters
A companion hiked to the top of a hill beside a waterfall-fed stream on a friend's property and reported seeing three barefoot human-like figures drinking from the stream. He interpreted them as a male, a female, and an infant, and said they did not seem alarmed by his presence. He was frightened by the encounter and has not taken visitors back to that spot since.

While checking timber lots for a paper mill job in the afternoon, the witness heard a chimpanzee-like sound and found a large primate-like animal squatted with its back to him. The animal stood, watched him, then walked through the river and ran off to the west. He later described its face and hands in detail and learned from his grandmother that locals called it a bugger.
Possible nighttime sighting while walking dogs near Norwich
Late at night the witness took two leashed dogs for a walk on a moonlit dead-end street. The witness first watched a human-shaped figure move from bushes toward the back of a neighbor's house, then waited near the end of the street and saw a hair-covered biped run across a lawn into adjacent woods. The dogs barked intensely and pulled toward the creature.
Two young men have a sighting while tending a campfire near Cardington
The witness and a friend were maintaining a camp fire at night behind the friend's house near a wooded ravine. When the witness stepped toward the ravine to gather twigs, he saw a tall black form standing in tall weeds below and watched it move side to side before it looked up showing red eye reflection. After the friend also looked and fled to the house, the form ran across the creek toward a field and the witness ran inside.
Truck driver has a daylight sighting west of Ellisville
The witness was driving a dump truck east in daylight when a brown, hairy creature about 8 feet tall crossed the road about 100 feet ahead with a long stride. The creature came from an open field to the south and went into heavy brush to the north without looking at the witness. The witness reported getting a good look from the elevated truck cab.

Two companions were deer hunting near their camp in the late afternoon when they heard loud popping sounds, heavy footsteps, and a foul odor. A large hair-covered biped stepped out of the treeline across a logging road and stared at them without moving or making noise. After a brief stare the creature stepped back into the woods and the witnesses fled and have avoided hunting deep in that area since.
Early morning walker witnesses a sasquatch pouncing on a snake east of Crossville
The witness was hiking alone in the morning about four miles from home when she entered a sunny grassy clearing. She watched a large ape-like animal leap from the woods, grab a long snake from the ground, and quickly disappear back into the trees. She immediately ran from the area and did not tell anyone about the encounter for several years.

Shortly after arriving at a secluded cabin, the 17-year-old witness and his best friend took a paddle boat onto the five-acre pond without lights. Near a dark cove they approached a huge dark figure on the shore. As they realized it had broad shoulders and a head with no neck, it lifted its leg and caused a huge splash, and they paddled frantically back to the dock.

The witness was driving home late at night when headlights illuminated a dark brown figure in the roadway. The figure crossed the road on two legs and continued through a ditch into the tree line. The witness did not stop and continued driving.

They spent two to three hours pursuing what they thought was an opposing-force scout wearing a ghillie suit. When the figure stood from a crouch it appeared at least nine feet tall and moved away silently with smooth, non-human locomotion.

Two occupants of a Jeep returning to base camp late at night noticed a large, dark, upright figure walking in the road ahead of their headlights. The figure, described as broad, massive and moving smoothly, stepped off into a ditch and into the woods as the vehicle approached. After stopping, one occupant heard sounds in the woods and both then saw a head-and-shoulders shape move quickly between trees before the area went quiet.
Cryptid sighting near Federal Way, Washington State (2005)
Three friends were sitting in a fenced backyard at dusk after playing softball when they noticed two spinning white lights in the tops of tall evergreens. Moments later a small, heavy, furry creature with a human-like face crawled from behind a wheelbarrow, looked at them, then ran uphill on all fours with loud heavy footfalls and cleared an eight-foot shed into the trees where the lights had been. Two of them started to investigate with a shovel and flashlight while the third reported a bright shooting star, then they left to meet friends. They have reported no similar activity at the house before or since.
