The witness was driving home from work late at night when headlights caught glowing eyes beside the road. Looking in the rearview mirror, she saw a very large, thick-limbed silhouette standing in the road behind her under bright moonlight. The witness was inspecting a field with a relative when they noticed something hunched over attacking cattle. The witness shouted and the creature stood up to about eight feet tall. The witness retrieved a shotgun from a truck, fired once and hit the creature, which fell, got up, screamed and sprinted away like a human. The witness followed a blood trail to a river where it was lost.

In January 2005 the witness walked to meet her young daughter at the school bus in the afternoon. Upon returning toward the house they saw a tall brown man-like figure standing motionless by the porch and staring. They watched it from ground level and then from the upstairs porch while the child tossed pebbles, but it did not move. They went inside without seeing it leave, and overnight snow covered any possible tracks.

The creature looked at the witness and continued walking across the road without breaking stride. In 2005 while talking inside a lakeside home, the witness saw a large hairy animal-like figure walk past ATVs outside the kitchen window. The next morning eighteen-inch footprints were found crossing from one driveway through the yard between two woods.

The driver was frightened enough to want to return home for a firearm and was late for work. The witness took a friend and the witness's partner to show them a deer stand location. While exiting a trail to a field, the partner lagged behind staring into the woods and then hurried to the others frightened. The partner said a black furry thing on all fours with a human face stared at her, while breaking branches were heard.

The witness was camping with his uncle at a lakeside campsite near the state line. After noticing eyeshine the first night and seeing other campers flee the ATV area, he woke at night to see two large hairy creatures at the campsite. The creatures took the food cooler into the woods where more eyeshine was seen, and left a large handprint on the vehicle sunroof.

After hopping a fence and walking in, they heard a loud roar and the witness turned to see a very tall muscular figure standing close by. Both men fled to the car and drove away without speaking about it at first.
