The witness stopped at a locked gate about four miles from a logging job and saw two apelike figures standing together in the road about 600 feet ahead. The animals crossed the road and headed north as the witness opened the gate and drove through. The witness drove to the spot and found no horses, elk, or other animals, noting dry conditions left no tracks.

The witness was driving north on Route 271 near a ski resort around 6 p.m. on a clear day when an upright, hairy figure was seen at the top of a hill. The witness was driving an ATV with his brother as passenger along a wooded ridge trail at dusk to check a soybean field for deer. The passenger noticed a tall white figure to the left of the trail, and the driver stopped within about 50 yards to look at it. The two stared at the figure briefly before the driver looked down at the ATV controls, and when he looked up the figure was running away through the woods.

The witness and a companion were scouting in a state forest when they noticed a strong foul odor. They saw an upright figure down a trail, watched it kneel in palmettos staring at them for many minutes, then saw it stand and cross the trail followed by a smaller similar figure into dense brush. They later found two footprints larger than the witness's foot.

Two people were sitting around a campfire in early-morning darkness when they heard heavy footsteps approaching through the woods. A creature passed through the campsite toward the river, then ran back and into the woods behind the camp, seen only as a fire-lit silhouette. After hunting from stands, they returned and found large five-toed footprints in sand that they felt were too large to be human.

On September 18, 2005, the witness observed a large hairy creature walking upright through the backyard for about a minute. The creature was described as over six feet tall with a pointed head and moving very fast. The witness felt the creature wanted to be seen.

They left quickly, and the husband returned later that evening and found disturbed leaves and torn ground where it had gone.

The witness was sitting on the front porch of a relative's trailer with a young child on a sunny mid-afternoon when a 4- to 6-foot bipedal figure covered in long white hair walked through the adjoining field into the yard. The figure walked past a short decorative fence, looked toward the witness and met her gaze, then continued around a garage out of sight during about five minutes of observation. A dog on the porch barked timidly throughout but the figure showed no reaction or aggression.

A large figure crossed the road about 75 to 100 feet ahead and moved slowly while slumped over as the witnesses stopped and watched for two to three minutes until it entered the woods. The witness claimed it was not a bear because it walked on two feet.

The witness and two relatives were hiking down from high lakes in the afternoon when they saw a large dark figure moving rapidly across a distant meadow on the far side of a river. The figure appeared to glide smoothly without bobbing, paused briefly when shouted at, then continued away and disappeared. The witnesses went down to the meadow edge but could not relocate it.

The witness was tending a beach fire after midnight when he noticed a dark bipedal figure walking south along the waterline in full moonlight. He ran to intercept it but could not catch up as it moved very quickly toward the jetty, then turned to face the ocean, arched its back and appeared to look back at him before disappearing near the jetty shadows. No tracks were recoverable because high-tide waves covered the waterline.

The figure took a few steps and stopped at the roadside as the vehicle passed it on the passenger side. The witness's family was asleep and no one else saw it, and he did not photograph it or return to the spot.

Looking down a private lane near a parking lot, she saw a set of large blue-white eyes high off the ground with smaller similar lights below. The eyes stayed still then swayed while the smaller lights moved and appeared and disappeared, prompting her to leave. She returned shortly with relatives but found no trace.
