The witness and companions were walking and joking in a field spot. They noticed indents in the ground, dark material on the ground, and a foul smell. They then saw a figure running across the field about 100 to 200 yards away toward the other side. Frightened, they ran inside and stopped using that spot.

The witness and two companions were walking near a bonfire when they saw a dark figure run across a horse field. The figure was inside the fence line and reportedly cleared a 5-foot fence at the end of the field. It was viewed from about 60 feet for about 7 seconds and described as nearly 6 feet tall, about 265 lbs, and all black.

When they left the tent with flashlights they saw large green eyes without visible pupils a short distance away on their path. After verbal warnings shots were fired toward the eyes, which advanced a few steps instead of fleeing, prompting the pair to call for help to leave the woods.

A man in a blue tracksuit and sunglasses came out of the woods and jumped straight up onto a tall rock without bending his knees, landing in a frog-like crouch with his head bobbing. Startled, the witness turned around and rode back to the truck, seeing the figure still perched on the rock as he left.
