While bow hunting alone and walking back to camp in the morning, the witness found a cow torn into pieces with parts scattered. Shortly after he heard three progressively louder whoops that felt like a warning to leave. He then saw a dark average-person-sized shape move between trees about 20 feet up and left quickly without telling his uncle details.

Military man on training exercises witnesses three, black, bipedal animals
The witness was part of a demolitions training convoy descending to a staging area when three hair-covered bipedal creatures were seen watching from the middle of a quarry. The middle individual was tallest and stood still while the two smaller flankers rocked side to side. The daytime sighting lasted about 25-30 seconds, shortly after a whoop-like sound was heard from beyond the work area.
