Sasquatch sighting in Ohio (2021)
The couple returned to the same road to measure the 2003 crossing and hike all day. They smelled strong urine and rotten-meat odors, found odd stacked limbs and other tree breaks, and watched a large limb fly over a cliff into the creek. Through binoculars the witness saw a black-furred being from waist up behind a tree staring back until it blinked, hid, reappeared, and later vanished by bending down. The husband saw an arm, they heard knocks, a whoop and running, and later found a large bare footprint in a creek bank and an impression behind a tree.
Possible daylight sighting by a couple at Geneva-on-the-Lake State Park
A family of four driving through Geneva State Park in daylight stopped after noticing a large dark bipedal figure moving through snowy woods. The figure was watched briefly for about ten seconds before disappearing. Shortly after from a nearby parking lot the adults made whoop calls and heard replies described as whoops, a scream or growl, and wood knocks, while also noticing a strong unpleasant odor.
Woman recounts possible early evening sighting near Saybrook
The witness was driving home with her son at dusk when a tall, dark-furred biped with long arms crossed the road in front of their vehicle in about three strides and entered the woods. After pulling into the driveway, they noticed a strong rotten odor and heard branches breaking and a high-pitched woot sound. They went inside, and the odor was gone when the witness returned outside an hour later.
Whoop in Ohio
About a month after a nearby sighting made the papers, the witness played internet sounds with friends as a joke. After about 45 minutes they heard knocks, whoops, growls and had pebbles and rocks thrown at them. On the hill they saw eyeshine that ducked into grass, heard something following them, and later rocks hit the deck and porch.
