Unidentified sound near Putnam County
The witness, young daughter, and small dog walked an unlit road through wetland to the water. After ice-breaking triggered a heavy thud on one side, the return ice-break triggered overlapping whoops with chatter on the other side. The daughter then reported a large black man-like figure crossing the road ahead and staring at them; no tracks were found on frozen ground.

A deer hunter in a climbing stand watched brush moving about 200 yards away and saw a large dark form squatting and disturbing a tree. When his stand made noise it looked at him, stood on two legs and ran. He found a huge slide track, then heard a wood knock and a whoop from different directions and left, later refusing to return.

About a month after a nearby sighting made the papers, the witness played internet sounds with friends as a joke. After about 45 minutes they heard knocks, whoops, growls and had pebbles and rocks thrown at them. On the hill they saw eyeshine that ducked into grass, heard something following them, and later rocks hit the deck and porch.

At the Michigan house the family repeatedly heard knocks, whoops and howls. Around 2-3 AM the father saw a large black figure cross the field and road and called the sheriff. After the sheriff fled and returned with military trucks there was heavy automatic gunfire, and the father and son later found large amounts of blood and bullet-riddled trees.
Tracks
The witness and five family members were camping and fishing at a remote lake. In the evening rocks were thrown toward a brother across the lake, followed by mimicked voices, screams, growls and surrounding noises. A large live tree was pushed over and fast-moving silhouettes were seen around the camp. The group abandoned their gear and left after the brother, who had been paced in the woods, rejoined them at the car.

The witness was tending a fire while his son swam in the river when he repeatedly saw bipedal legs moving through foliage on the far bank getting closer. He called his son out, heard snaps and a whoop, and later saw the legs taking big strides on the ridge. They waited by the fire until it went quiet.

The witness and several friends camped on family land in South Florida near the national park. At night they heard hisses, tree knocks and whoops, saw strange lights, then saw a group of large hairy bipeds that threw rocks, injured a friend, threw a large dog, and chased the group as they fled on ATVs. The next day the camp was found destroyed and the dog was found dead.

The witness set out alone on a multi-day hike through swamp trail and camped overnight in a hammock. During the night the camp was surrounded by unseen figures making vocalizations, knocks and walking sounds, and a food bag was knocked down. The next day the witness found large tracks, then encountered large dark hairy figures on and near the trail, one of which followed closely. The witness fled in panic to a highway rest stop and required medical care, reporting lasting distress and nightmares.
Whoop in Georgia
As teenagers the witness and friends camped and hiked up a reputedly haunted mountain at night to look for a cabin. They were paralleled on both sides, heard whoops and powerful wood knocks and branches being ripped, then a large tree was pushed over close to them and they fled. The running camcorder captured the sounds and briefly illuminated two large almond-shaped red eyes that narrowed and turned away before the tree fell.

While grilling on the porch after dark, the witness and others heard grunts, growls and whooping from the thicket. He saw dark silhouettes of three figures moving between bramble patches about 60-70 feet away. The group went inside afterward.
Whoop in Georgia
The witness and one coworker stayed late to finish treated trees and clean up capsules. They heard whoops and a shriek, then heard whistling objects identified as treatment capsules being thrown near them. As they drove out they saw something peering from behind a tree and heard three wood knocks.
Tracks
During a day and night visit the group found footprints in mud, heard deep yep sounds and monkey chatter keeping distance, saw primitive stick structures and stripped bones, and heard toddler-like cries by the river. At night they heard prolonged roars, whoops and screams, and saw a heat signature standing in a field that vanished when approached.

At age 15 the guest was fishing alone at a creek near his father's house when he heard whoops and saw a large hairy figure behind a sycamore. He confronted it with a .22 rifle, and after it growled and roared he shot it in the throat, then in the hand, then multiple times in the chest as it screamed, broke saplings, and ran straight through a barbed-wire fence across a hay meadow. Later that day his father found broken trees, blood and hair on the sycamore, and blood and hair on the broken fence wires.

The guest and his wife were sitting in a borrowed van in the driveway late at night when the wife saw someone run past and a loud whoop and growling started beside the van. The creature shook the van and was lit by brake lights, then the father fired a shotgun from the porch and it leapt across the driveway into the woods. Later that night rocks were thrown at the trailer damaging a fan and siding, and next morning bent van metal, foot impressions, feathers and a missing chicken were found.

As a small child the witness went outside early in the morning to get leftover crackers from a backyard playhouse. He heard a whooping sound from the woods, then a huge hairy figure stepped sideways out of the playhouse, grunted, and quickly went over the fence. He told his parents he saw a monster but they dismissed it as a nightmare.

Two moonshiners finished a batch stored in screw-top jars and found most containers smashed with a drunk Sasquatch lying on the ground. The creature had been unable to unscrew lids, smashed jars on a rock, and licked up the spilled liquor. When it noticed the men it gave whooping vocalizations, then became alarmed and staggered off into the woods.

Looking through a thermal camera the witness saw two figures on their bellies that rose to a crouch on their haunches on either side of a tree about two hundred feet away while knocks, whoops, whistles and rock clacking were heard. By the time he rigged his phone to record through the thermal they had dropped back down and the recording shows almost nothing.

Later the same day while on a road with his dog, the witness heard stomping, whooping and a stick break uphill. About thirty feet away a very small black child-like figure stood from behind a stick structure, squatted rapidly and flipped its head back and forth. It then threw its arm forward and dashed away.

Two brothers living about two miles apart in a remote area moved into a long-vacant home and experienced escalating aggressive activity. The creatures chased one brother through a garage, came to a child's window at night, ran across the roof nightly, vocalized, and were seen standing in brush and at the property edge. After a spirit medium visited and the brothers commanded the beings away in prayer, activity at the house stopped, and related incidents included a vanishing woman, cloaking, and trail cameras failing when food was taken.
Whoop in Pennsylvania
The guest and three college friends drove to a remote back road at night to make whoops and knocks as a fun outing. Something answered with similar whoops and knocks and approached as they moved into the woods. The guest briefly saw a hair-covered biped moving between trees and later all four watched eyeshine peer from behind a tree before fleeing to the car and driving back to college.
