A couple scouting their wooded hillside property for a cabin site reported a brief daytime glimpse of a very tall figure that turned and ran, accompanied by whoops, movement sounds and a foul odor. That night both reported banging and stick impacts on their cabin lasting for hours. The next morning they reported finding large footprints and scattered sticks around the cabin.

She looked up and watched a tall, dark-haired figure step out of the trees, walk five long steps to the side while looking down, and step back into the forest. She called a relative to return home, and a later visit to the spot found trampled vegetation, stacked broken limbs, and a strong odor.

On both nights they exchanged wood knocks with unseen sources and heard a whoop, and something large walked past their tent. On the second night they watched red eyes near camp, then heard a very close loud grunt and packed up and left feeling unwelcome.

The witness and four companions were pausing in a hay field during a target-practice outing when the witness spotted a large dark figure rising from a blackberry patch. The figure walked across a trail, paused by a fir tree and looked toward the group, then continued into an adjacent field. The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

The witness and his son were camping in a tent near a swamp when they were awakened by a loud unusual vocalization, followed by prolonged loud whistling that seemed to circle the camp. About an hour later the witness woke again and saw an upright silhouette pass by the tent. A third companion slept through the sounds, and the group did not stay a second night.

The witness was outside a residence near a wooded creek around midnight when loud whoops, heavy approaching footfalls, a mildew odor, and a howling dog were noticed. A tall dark man-shaped figure then appeared in a moonlit clearing in the creek bed about 30 yards away. The figure faced the witness briefly then moved out of the light into the woods, and the witness went back inside.
