In November 2022 the witness took a young child deer hunting and sat against a tree on a ridgeline at dawn. After hearing a loud baby-like cry and a heavy barreling sound down the cliff, the witness saw a large black-haired bipedal creature stop nearby, appear angry, then soften, gesture with its hands, back away, and leap up the cliff out of sight. The witness left with the child and later found large marks where the creature had climbed.

After playing poker at a friend's rural house late at night, the witness walked toward a vehicle and noticed a crouched black shape near the tree line. The shape stood to about seven feet with broad shoulders and long arms, watched briefly, huffed, and ran into the trees. The witness drove home and told the friend the next day.

A deer hunter in scent-masking clothes and a ghillie suit was set up on a rock overlooking a saddle at daybreak. A large dark ape-like animal threw a stick that landed behind him, then charged after he shouted and pointed his muzzleloader. He fired in front of it to deter it; it stopped, stood, grunted, and a smaller one emerged crying before both left. He abandoned his gear and found it ransacked the next day.

On a July day the guest sat by a quarry pond, heard snapping and baby-like crying, and walked about 300 feet into the woods. He found a small hairy child-like creature upside down with its leg caught in a tree. Two taller hairy females appeared, one growling loudly, and he fled on his motorcycle.

He heard an extremely loud roar from the ravine behind him that drowned out the equipment and scattered deer and other animals. He then saw a large black figure watching from an abandoned barn doorway for 25-30 minutes, later pacing the doorway to estimate it at 8-8.5 feet tall.

The witness and a companion were throwing rocks for a dog to fetch at a farm by woods when the dog became alert. The witness reports seeing something about 12 feet away move quickly across a clearing on two feet. The companion reportedly saw only the last moment and thought it was a bear, while the witness was convinced the sighting was real.

While walking out on a remote logging road after discovering flat tires, the witness confronted a black bear that kept approaching despite shouting. A large hairy biped rushed down the hill on all fours, landed in the road and slid, causing the bear to flee. The biped then stood, stared, and bluff-charged twice with loud vocalizations until the witness fled on foot and was later picked up by drivers in a pickup.

The guest was fishing alone for catfish at night from a low creek bank with a lantern turned low. He heard something run on bare feet across a road, grab a guardrail, and slide down riprap rocks toward the creek. He then heard movement in cane, a whoop followed by a long vocalization, saw widely spaced reddish-orange eyeshine, and heard baseball-sized rocks hitting the water before it moved away.

In 1975 the witness's family living near Spottsville, Kentucky experienced repeated activity over many months. She described hearing loud limb breaks and an elephant-like scream, smelling a dead-like odor, finding footprints, and losing livestock and pets with entrails removed. She twice saw an 8-foot hairy figure on the property, and four armed relatives fired from the roof as the figure ran past a barn and jumped a fence unaffected.

The guest's hunter uncle joined family members to look for the creature near the pond after dark. A figure stood up very close with its arms raised and the uncle fired a carbine, believing he hit it under the arms. The creature made a loud noise and fled, leaving fatty bloody material but no blood trail, only footprints and broken vegetation.

The witness walked alone to his deer stand before dawn on opening day on his Kentucky property. About 20 feet into the woods he heard a grunt followed by a powerful roar that vibrated through him and froze him, then a second similar call nearby, indicating two animals. He stood motionless for several minutes, then eased away and waited in his stand until daylight. Days later he glimpsed a large gray head at the woods edge and later found a buck with a shattered leg and torn hip, and the next summer heard a frenzied coyote chorus end in sudden silence.

Over several visits he saw two babies in her kitchen eating muffins, an eight-year-old six-and-a-half-foot female on the porch, juveniles running upright, and a huge alpha male called Papa at night. She showed a garden, fish pond, and outdoor TV and said they help on the farm and hunt far.

Over five or six visits he saw two juveniles inside the house sniffing and eating muffins, interacted with a young golden-haired female on the porch, saw many eyeshine when a TV played cartoons, and watched a huge alpha male called Papa talk with the woman outside at night before leaving.

Two larger hairy females then appeared, one growled and yelled, and he fled back to his motorcycle where he later found three shiny rocks on the gas tank.

Later that year while playing in a nearby sand pit, the witness and cousins investigated dogs that had cornered something in a brush pile. They saw a black chimp-like juvenile crouched and turning away, heard a frightened keening sound, and felt a strong mental impression to leave it alone, so they left.
