Two small girls awoke to find an ape-like intruder in their bedroom and screamed. Their father rushed in in time to see a huge shaggy figure climbing out the window and escaping. Nothing was reported stolen.

A family was frightened by a naked long-haired wild man roaming near their home. A stone fell near a playing child, who looked up to see the figure beckoning and making sounds. The child ran inside to his mother.

The witness and two companions camped in a tent at the old shelter site after the shelter had been removed. In the evening the witness and one companion watched an elongated light move controlled through trees below the ridgeline toward the east. Later tree knocks were heard and the other companion reported a headlamp-like light approaching from rocks above camp, which was later discussed as possibly being eye shine, with no tracks found the next day.

The guest and two companions sat at a creek bed late at night with thermal imagers, one recording through a phone. They watched a figure slowly lean from behind a tree showing a cone-shaped head, shoulder and arm, withdraw, reappear, then a second similar figure appear about 20 to 25 feet away. After one companion hiked out, he radioed that he heard a whoop and felt followed.

The guest and his father went outside with a gun and saw a very tall slender black silhouette with long arms standing at the end of the trailer by a drop into woods. While walking back on a trail, the guest's partner felt followed, stopped, pretended to tie a shoe, then glimpsed a fast-moving brownish-black humped figure about four to five feet off the ground. It ran behind a tree and down a small valley in one to two seconds. The guest was wearing a headset looking ahead and saw nothing.

On a weekend camping trip, the guest and his friend heard a fawn-like distress sound that seemed to approach. The friend ran toward it with a light while the guest followed behind. The friend saw a tall grayish-silver upright figure move between trees and dart away. Next morning they found a snapped trip line, a missing bell, and a large human-like track looking toward them.

The next afternoon while burning trash by the cabin the guest and his friend heard chimp-like chattering and saw two dark upright figures walking north along the opposite shore just inside the treeline. They could see no hands, faces or other detail.

During a group outing intended to call in creatures, multiple individuals closed in while vocal mimicry shifted suddenly to loud aggressive growls. Two or three figures emerged from brush and physically forced participants toward vehicles. The group scrambled to leave as one researcher passed close by the largest individual.

While driving into a campground area in Texas the observer and three companions stopped at an unfamiliar road and immediately glimpsed a creature. The sighting involved the observer, his previously skeptical friend and two other companions. No detailed description was given on air.

Through a night vision scope at about thirty feet the observer saw most of a face in brush with the lower jaw obscured. He described a human-ape intermediate face with no forehead, a central brow ridge, almond eyes, flat wide nose and wide thin-lipped mouth. He considered this his best facial view.

While trying to flank elk, the witness went alone down into pines and lost sight of companions and elk. He saw a round brown head with forward eyes and no ears or snout watching him from behind brush. It looked at him and away repeatedly for a few minutes before he left.

The witness and his partner parked in a refuge at night and made vocal calls. Heavy footsteps approached the van and a dark figure was seen through reeds. After leaving and returning, whoop calls were exchanged. The partner declined to return after that.

About two weeks later at 3:30 in the morning the guest sat on the deck steps and heard heavy bipedal footsteps crunching leaves up the fence row. It stepped over a creek without breaking stride. In porch light she saw a large gray-brown hairy portion of its body about 20 feet away, then retreated inside from fear.

A team member driving with companions on a dirt road through wetlands at night saw a red floating light. Attempts to catch it by speeding failed and it accelerated away and vanished. Size was guessed as small ball-like but distance was unknown.

While searching alone for an old cemetery shown on topo maps, the witness crossed a stream, became disoriented, saw shimmering, had compass spin and time discrepancies, and glimpsed a black figure darting. Reviewing footage at home he saw a tall black antler-headed figure by a tree. Contacts later told him it was a dogman tied to burial grounds.
