On August 1, 1990, a woman at a mobile home near Eldon, Oklahoma reported hearing noises and smelling a bad odor before seeing a very tall, heavy creature. A deputy later found large impressions at the scene. Two days later, two other residents reported a similar upright animal at a trash pile nearby.

The witness and a companion were fishing from the bank of a small lake when they heard careful, bipedal-sounding footsteps moving through the woods behind them from one side to the other. After a while they watched a very tall, broad-shouldered, hair-covered biped walk out into a grassy area on the far side of the lake. The creature walked slightly stooped, with long hair waving as it moved, and then disappeared from view.

The witness and a companion were driving at night on a lightly traveled road between the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff when they saw a tall hair-covered biped walking on the shoulder. They stopped about 50 yards away and watched it turn to face the headlights, pause and look curious, then take a step toward the car. After the companion screamed it strode into the forest in a few strides, and the pair drove widely around the spot and left the area.
Hiker encounters huge, upright animal at creek on Grass Mountain
The witness was exploring up a small feeder creek away from a campsite when a very strong foul smell was noticed and movement was heard ahead in the brush. A tall, very muscular, reddish-brown entity with huge shoulders and no apparent neck was seen walking about 50 feet away. The witness retreated toward camp, perceived the smell as moving with them and believed the animal kept pace and followed to the campsite, then left the mountain without packing up the tent.
Road-crossing sighting by motorist on Hwy 220 north of Candor
The witness was traveling by vehicle on a highway in daylight when she saw a large dark furry bipedal figure emerge from woods on one side. The figure stepped over a roadside fence, crossed four lanes quickly with a smooth gliding run, then stepped over a fence on the far side and disappeared into a pine thicket. A companion traveling with her did not see it.

The witness returned with a dog to an abandoned campsite to collect leftover camping items. While crossing a field, the witness saw a reddish-brown figure with long arms and an oval head standing motionless in the treeline about 300-400 feet away. The witness then ran away.
Night time sighting by two witnesses four miles south of Livermore
The witness and a companion parked at night with a larger group to visit abandoned ruins. While getting out of the cars, both watched a tall furry brown bipedal creature cross a hillside about 40 feet away in flashlight light, then climb uphill out of sight. They initially withheld the sighting from the rest of the group and the witness later looked for tracks without success.

The witness rode as a passenger in a car with four companions on a dark two-lane highway and encountered an animal standing on the road. The driver stopped within a few feet and the occupants watched it move quadrupedally to the road edge, sit, and hesitate as if to flee. They then drove slowly past it within a couple feet, after which it was gone when looked for behind them.

A soldier camped with his platoon near a lake during a training exercise heard huffing and barking sounds approaching down a hill with shaking, cracking and falling trees. With a teammate he watched a large upright heavy broad-shouldered man-like figure step into the moonlit clearing, huff loudly, then run upright swinging its arms across the clearing and disappear. The whole platoon awoke and rapidly packed to move in the opposite direction.

The witness was riding as a passenger with a companion while traveling to Alaska from college along a winding pine-forest road in late afternoon. They noticed a red-furred creature standing motionless against a tree beside the road. It looked directly at the witness for several seconds before turning and leaving sight in a few strides. The witness recalled yellow cat-like eyes and an unfriendly, wild demeanor.

The witness and companions returned at night to the same lakeside spot where they had been frightened the night before. They heard a distant roar that suddenly sounded a few feet away, lit the area with a spotlight, and saw a tall upright creature with its back to them that ran and then paused. The creature roared again when shot at and pushed over a green cottonwood before the group left.

During a nighttime military training bivouac near Cat Lake, the witness heard huffing and barking sounds approaching down a moonlit hillside with shaking and falling trees. A large upright man-like form with broad shoulders stepped into the clearing, huffed loudly, then ran upright across the clearing with swinging arms and heavy steps felt in the ground. The platoon woke, packed rapidly, and moved away, and a daylight check found knocked-over trees and disturbed soil but no prints.

The witness and three companions parked on a remote logging road near water late at night. He noticed a bright green eyeshine rising silently to about his eye level. After maneuvering the car to shine headlights on the area, he saw a tall camouflage-patterned bipedal creature standing motionless eight feet away, with one eye destroyed by a recent wound, which explained seeing only one eyeshine. The creature stared, then stepped toward the ditch as the group fled in panic.

A group of five returned at night to the site of an earlier reported quad encounter. Around 9 p.m. the area became silent and they watched a figure peek from behind a boulder before they approached closer. From about 50 yards they watched a 7- to 8-foot hair-covered figure run silently down a dirt road. After it left, normal night sounds resumed.

While driving with his father to get a burger during cottage clearing, the witness saw a huge upright figure come from the river side and cross the road in about three steps. It covered a gravel pullout and hopped ditches on both sides in about seven seconds, glancing at the vehicle. His father asked if he saw it and told him not to say anything.

A boy fishing with his father on a spillway noticed a strong sour odor and saw what looked like a large beaver eating a fish across the water. On closer look the small figure stood on hind legs and appeared to be a juvenile Sasquatch about five feet tall holding a fish. Two much taller figures, about eight to nine feet, stood together at the tree line, and the juvenile walked up the hill to join them as all three left into the trees.

While driving a patient at night under a full moon with snow on the ground, the witness watched a herd of deer running alongside the vehicle followed by two tall hairy figures. The larger grabbed a buck by the leg while the smaller leapt on its neck and twisted it to bring it down. He sped away and confirmed with his passenger they had both seen it.

On a fall afternoon, the mother stayed in the pickup reading while relatives cut firewood in the hills. About thirty to forty feet away she watched a large orange-haired creature squatting and staring for many minutes, with a second dark creature pacing behind a woodpile. When she realized there were two she honked and screamed, the relatives ran over, and both creatures left toward trees.

The witness was driving a small pickup at night on remote mostly gravel roads in the Bald Hills east of the Tacoma-Olympia area. Three tall dark figures crossed the road about thirty feet in front of the truck, then turned to look at the witness. The witness noted their eyes did not reflect the headlights, panicked, did not turn around, and continued to a friend's house.
